1001 Jigsaw. World Tour: Australian Puzzles is a basic browser/Flash/mobile-app like jigsaw puzzle game. Solve various jigsaw puzzles made up from images that the "developer" stole off the Internet and used without crediting the actual creators, making this plagiarism, as well as an asset flip and a cash grab. An example of the stolen, uncredited/plagiarised artwork is "Gateway Bridge in Queensland", stolen and used without any apparent permissions or rights from iStockPhoto/Robert Downer (photographer). Sure, the image rights may allow some stock images to be used without credit (although there's no reason to believe so in this case), and claiming credit for the work of others, as is happening here, is unethical, and the creative and intellectual bankruptcy going on here is unacceptable. There's a bajillion of the same game with slightly different pictures. It's weird and overpriced, but based on my notes - I enjoyed putting puzzle pieces into puzzle spaces.
"1001 Jigsaw. World Tour: Australian Puzzles" has easy and hard jigsaw puzzles, and a range in-between. When I started, I had assumed that the jigsaw would take up the entire playing area (which is the case with other computer jigsaw games I've played), but that's not the case here (I thought I was missing some pieces when I first saw that). You can store pieces in the upper left corner, which is handy. Unfortunately, you can't take a proper screenshot of the finished puzzle, as the picture fades out as soon as you complete it. That was disappointing. "1001 Jigsaw. World Tour: Australian Puzzles" is a good little game to play if you like jigsaw puzzles. I bought this game on Australia Day. I played this game on Australia Day. It seemed the right thing to do.
I really liked this pack. Lots of wonderful views, animals and the sort of things the rest of us imagine when we think of Australia, so a very touristy vibe. Not as many models, but an almost repeat of the American flag one where someone is holding up the flag and cheering. Not nearly as bombastic as the American pack, a few things alike, but on the whole it feels more subtle, though I don't live in Australia so they might see it differently. Overall one of the best sets with enough bells and whistles to keep you happy. And yes, there really are 500 puzzles.
wow this game is pretty amazing, what can i say? should you buy it? well for me i can say it's so cool when games are released and stuff.. btw this review is not because of the steam award nomination badge or whatever. Anyways, it's getting late, i gtg have a wonderful night friend.
