Omno takes you into a world of breathtaking landscapes and visuals that seem stylistically inspired by everything from Minecraft to Jurassic Park to surrealist art – simply beautiful! The journey is accompanied by an atmospheric soundtrack that perfectly underscores the mood. Over the course of the game, Omno learns to jump, surf, glide and teleport. While combining these abilities at speed can occasionally be confusing, soaring through the skies or surfing with dragons creates a wonderful sense of flow. Omno is often described as a “zen game.” But don’t let that fool you: from about the halfway point, the puzzles become noticeably trickier, and the controls in certain sequences especially demanding. Some passages require a complex sequence of precise inputs within a very tight time window – and not all of them can be skipped. At some of these points I was truly frustrated and needed many, many attempts to get through. My conclusion: A beautiful game that is quite acces...

It's a puzzle and exploration game. Has a lot of low poly graphics, but the world is still really beautiful. It's made by a single dev which is really impressive. He fleshed the world out really well with a host of different fantasy creatures, all with a little lore about them. The gameplay loop is pretty simple. Each zone has 3 orbs you must collect that unlocks a final puzzle that leads to the next zone. There are more orbs, plus lore boxes that you can optionally collect to get 100% completion in the zone. The puzzles are at a good level of challenge. The negatives: -You can't backtrack to previous levels. This is pretty annoying for anyone who wants to replay them to collect what they missed. It's also punishing for players who want to get all the achievements (cause you need to 100% every level). All this game has is the ability to start a new game at the beginning of a biome (series of levels). So this wipes your whole progress, and you can't choose the individual level to sta...
Super relaxing game. Very nice puzzle and exploration mechanics. GREAT JOB!
I normally like these kind of games ... this one tells you NOTHING ... on how to get to the high places, I have no idea what the crystals I'm picking up are for, Some stupid green squirrel shows up and disappears immediately but does nothing to guide you, I just spent an hour in the 3rd chapter and can't finish it. So pretentious that it's insulting. You can't do what you don't know, if i have to google multiple guides for such a simplistic game ... that literally sucks the life and enjoyment out of it.
Comfy game, no danger light platformer. 3-4 hours for 100%
I tried to 100% this game, but somehow missed a challenge on one of the "levels". Seems like I can't just go back to that level in order to get 100% achievement, but rather play the whole game again. Other than that, pretty good game.
Relaxing and satisfying puzzle game
really pretty scenery bit of collecting and short puzzles though the scenery is really impressive for those who appreciate game worlds
Omno is a very calm und peaceful game with a great, almost relaxing atmosphere. No rush, no fighting, extremely easy to navigate through - and every single part of that adds up to a wonderful experience that I could easily enjoy together with my 7yr old kid. We both are incredibly sad that we have already finished the game, but we are also looking back on 9 hours of playing time, that were totally worth every cent spent. I can highly recommend this game for everyone who is looking for something to relax and let their kids play without regrets.
For some extremely frustrating reason, going back to a previous chapter rewrites your *entire* save file. So if you miss a collectible, you literally have to restart the whole game if you want to get it on your file for achievements. I am not sure why the developer thought this was a good idea, it is a major oversight in an otherwise great game. The game does not tell you this will happen either, and for that reason I had to replay much of the game and thus wouldn't recommend until this gets fixed.
