It's not the game of the year, it's the game of the decade. For real though, I love simple little arcade games like this that are perfect for passing the time while queueing for a DotA match. Also, a huge shout out to the dev for not being as graphically lazy as (let's face it) most games at this price point are.

About This Game
Hi, I'm David Nickerson solo developer at Mole Eyes Entertainment, Warp Glider is the first game I have launched on my own. The last launched Steam Game I co-created was called "Pixel Boy and the ever-expanding dungeon". I really hope you enjoy Warp Glider, feel free to contact me on the Steam Community page if you have any feedback or suggestions at all!
- An all-new Co-op mode that allows you and a friend to battle to the ultimate distance working together.
- Slick modern eye-popping effects that blend in with a familiar retro pixel art style.
- Dynamic physics with gravity altering black holes, glide chilling comet trails, and various asteroids and hazards that affect both player and foe.
- Warp Gliders simple control style enables players to pick up and play, goes hand in hand with that "one more time" feeling.
- Awesome Power-Ups that all stack on top of one another creating a different play experience each time.
- Power Ups come in Offensive, Defensive, and Utility types, enabling the player to constantly develop new strategies to the dynamic gameplay.
- Ultra destructive AOE nukes, protective shields, gravity auras, stealth cloaking, wing mounted guns, speed boosts and more!
- Unlock different controlling glider crafts by achieving the high score and find your favorite play style!
- Experience Warp Gliders unique control scheme with full controller support.
In Warp Glider you control a glider craft able to warp through the edges of the screen. Keep the ever-expanding waves of Bandits approaching at bay. Your objective is to survive and collect electric energy orbs to increase your score, the longer you survive the more the game will increase the difficulty.
Use the momentum of the craft while traveling in combination with rotating steering and boosters for a detailed sense of control. You can break a single wing and survive to find a wing-fix but break both wings and your ship will explode.
The Bandits have unique movement patterns and behaviors and become more advanced versions of themselves if reached. If you hit an environmental obstacle like black holes it will destroy your craft at the center otherwise it pulls you in when close by.
Warp Glider will work with a flight stick, Joystick controller, or with a keyboard and mouse. I recommend to glide with a standard Console/PC controller for the joystick but it's developed to suit whatever you're comfortable with.

Cool powerups (except for the boost, Its gotten me killed so many times ARGH) Fun to play a couple quick rounds when waiting on something else.
Very challenging game, if you want a challenge this is the game for you, very enjoyable also set your self a score to beat and i bet you wont leave until you get that score, very well done :D
I'm really impressed with this game, it's deceptively simple, extremely satisfying and absolutely addictive. It's got more gameplay depth than most of these simple action blaster games, and took me longer to get the hang of flying - but once I did, totally hooked and literally couldn't put it down until I unlocked the second ship. Things happen so fast in this game it's hard to do it justice without playing but there is a some serious satisfaction from zipping through swarms of ships with only one wing left, navigating around a gravity well pulling all the enemies chasing you in, and escaping while doing entirely unnecessary amounts of spins to show off while grabbing the final collectible you need to unlock that ship (I was stuck at 34 of 35 for like an hour - but didn't give up!) I got a lot more out of Warp Glider that I expected - for this price point you can't go wrong with this game!
I can't explain to you how satisfying the nukes are. This game is sweet.
Wow what a great game. So fun trying to beat your previous score from the last round.
Tough and fun. Avoid slowing down in the walls if you want to stay alive.
Totally love this game. This game is one of the best games i've played. So much fun. I can play this game for hours.
Whoah! Cool game Mole Eyes. The best part about this is the gliding...wait Powerups, actually this game is great because of how these work together, I really like how its different each go as well. I love classic Atari games and little score chasers like this that remind me of the arcades in the late 80's - early 90's. This game more then meets the quality bar for a dollar. I am really looking forward to seeing what this game looks like a year from now with even more content! I am going to review more now, if you want follow me for reviews of cool indie games.
It is a fun and addictive arcade game in its purest form. Collect as much energy as possible without dying. The controls are slick and the entire game factors in momentum and some physics. You don't have weapons by default. But you can use power ups to atatck bandit ships, and lead them in to hazards. The game costs less than one US dollar and its a lot of fun. It has that "one more try" factor.
