Lumberjack’s Dynasty is a unique blend of life simulation, forestry management, and role-playing game elements that sets itself apart with a slower, more grounded approach to open-world progression. Developed by Toplitz Productions, the game places you in the role of a young man returning to his family’s run-down logging business in a picturesque rural valley. While the premise may sound simple, the experience offered by Lumberjack’s Dynasty is surprisingly rich and multifaceted, combining elements of economic strategy, resource gathering, crafting, relationship building, and environmental stewardship. At its core, the game is about restoring and expanding your inherited lumber empire. This begins with basic logging tasks—cutting down trees, processing timber, and fulfilling contracts—but quickly grows into a much larger enterprise. About This Game
A unique life simulation where you are a lumberjack building up a business and founding a lasting dynasty for generations to come.
Lumberjack's Dynasty is a mix of forestry, logging, business- and life-simulation with role playing elements. You start at a run-down logging camp which you slowly take over from your aunt and uncle as you restore it to its former glory. Along with cutting timber and hauling it to the mill for further production, you will enjoy various quests that will help you improve not only your business, but your character’s skills.
Choose your playstyle: quickly become a straightforward and professional lumberjack by purchasing, cutting and converting large forests into products, or explore the full depth of the game and experience the vast range of activities from repairing and renovating your buildings and vehicles, fishing, harvesting honey, and growing vegetables. So.... At first this game was fun, lot's of mission, you felt like you made progress. The economy is tough in this game and you will learn to collect scraps to get by. Then comes the task of buying the mill from your uncle for 255.000 euro..... There is lot's of good land to buy so you can keep the mill running, but every purchase set you back closer to zero. To dry a pallet of plank takes close to 2 weeks, you get 7 pallets(one hanging in the crane) on your flattbed truck, selling it at the lumberyard pays you just above 1400 euro. This game goes from fun, to running back and forth resting weeks and spending hours in a forklift JUST HANDLING PALLETS.... And i guess the devs won't do anything about it to balance the economy, their last update was may 10th 2023, so they have moved on. it's all just sad
good game love the hole series
