Nights at the Clown Maze

I gotta be honest I saw this and was pretty excited for a FNAF fan game using clowns as the animatronics. However, once I started to play the game I found it extremely difficult to discern what I was supposed to do. It would seem to me that the vast majority of production and time went into developing the jump-scares which is admirable, but the overall gameplay mechanics leave much to be desired. This is the kind of game I would expect to find on gamejolt or something along those lines. If you're looking for a Five Nights at Freddy's fan game then by all means give it a whirl, but to be frank; I don't believe it's worth $2. I'm not taking away from the work the developer(s) did but this is the kind of game that should have been put out on a platform like the before mentioned gamejolt to get player feedback so adjustments could be made. For example one adjustment should be something, anything that explains your objective. This game does not give you any direction on what to do and when ...

I feel it was very minimal and I spent time trying to figure out what I was supposed to do and made absolutely no progress. As a result, I got bored and gave up trying to figure it out. I do feel there needs to be a little more instructions on how the parts work together. My positive review comes from the story and the clowns themselves. I loveeeee spooky clowns and would love to see the devs make another clown game that doesnt have that FnaF style. I hope this helps and someone does better than I did! Pleaseeeeee make another spooky clown game :D it would make my life.

I liked the game alright....it scared me mainly because it was clowns and it does seem like they put more effort into the jumpscares than the actual storyline and mechanics and that is OK. the game looks better on the store page than the actual game. nowhere in the game or the description does it explain what the objective is or how to acheive it. it kind of looks like a low quality mobile game. but i cant lie the way the clowns and the jumpscares look kind of real tells me the creator(s) could make a good game if they keep at it.
