Review slightly accommodated to reflect the changes from the latest update (2020). Dear Betamaximus, please remember that when you reply through any way to a review, a mail is sent to the person who submitted it if they have mail notifications ebaled. ------------- As someone who has played Tetris and Tetris-like fangames for a long time, I would not recommend this to anyone in any skill level. Let's go step by step WHY. Because like every good reviewer, I play the game before reviewing it.
UI / UX, and overall game appearance.
The UI looks like a 15 year old that just began to learn how to use UnityUI designed something. It's just buttons slapped all over the place with eyesearing colors on Arial. Not to mention the title screen which, if it moved, would cause seizures to people because of how clashing it is. --- 2020 update: It's still bad, and even worse now with the huge menu button. Some parts of the UI flat out do not work, and parts of the high score panels are bro...

About This Game
Tetros is the thrift store knockoff of Tetris and like twice as hard. People are throwing the word "sequel" around a lot.
Featuring many more shapes, an expanding stage, and advanced control mechanics like being able to change any shape's spin axis on the fly, everything you need to push your shape fitting OCD's to the next level.
Video (gameplay + commentary):
https://youtu.be/WA80sm2B0VU
Short version:
We would recommend Qu-tros if you love Tetris or Tetris-like games and want to try a new variant on the formula AND are okay with lacking some options like instant-dropping pieces or holding down to drop pieces faster.
Longer version:
More fun than it may look at first glance. Which is good, because visually the game looks like an old school Flash game or homebrew from the 1990s. Imagine Tetris, except the game board is wider, your pieces are more weirdly shaped, and instead of clearing lines you have to clear a 6x6 square. Occasionally there are "environmental" obstacles that will mess with your progress, like a tornado that will cause a piece to spin if you get too close to it, or a mushroom that will... well, we're not actually sure what it does. But it's kinda fun when it happens. After completing one 6x6 square, you are tasked with doing it again, except the game delivers tw...
I'm only rating this up because there is an interesting concept here. Your success with the game solely depends on good luck, which severely cuts down on enjoyment. To put things into perspective, it is possible to get upwards of 40,000 points on the first level, but the minimum requirement nets you around 4,000. For high score challenges, it is very undesirable to cut your losses and the gameplay will eventually devolve into repeating level 1 until you get a good final piece sequence. With the ridiculous amount of possible piece shape permutations is likely not to happen. If you do get this game, godspeed I guess.
An interesting take on falling block games, it's definitely one of the weirder variants (reminds me of Tetris 2). There's potential for high-level play with the risk/reward scoring.
Its just poorly made. Interesting concept tho.
