Deported: Drain the Swamp was a big disappointment for me. I had high hopes for Crankage Games' work here after I loved The Chronicles of Quiver Dick, but the description "full of satire and parody" is a bit misleading here. The game isn't "full" of anything. The game is comprised of 5 short rounds of a pretty terrible mini game with a bit of semi-humorous dialogue mixed in throughout. No original humor, and the humor that's there is really lacking. The game lasts all of 20 minutes, and that includes the 5 minutes of credits. Honestly very disappointing overall, especially given the high quality of The Chronicles of Quiver Dick. Even though I got this game for only $0.63, I wouldn't recommend it at any price.

Super short pacman like game. The dialogue may be humerous to some, but even the cheapest of game isn't worth it if it's over in 15 minutes of gameplay Graphics: 1/10 Gameplay: 1/10 Replayablility: 1/10 etc, just don't.
A PAC-MAN style game with political jabs? LOL. Yea, I had to try it and it was actually pretty cool. It is a very short game just like the dev describes but it was a fun experience. Although I am guilty as sin as I really got the best enjoyment from the cutscenes. The Grump and Killary dialogue really made it worth it. :) Thumbs up.
This game is exactly what it claims to be: A 30 minute streamlined story, with some interesting gameplay thrown in. This is probably the most unique RPG Maker game I've ever seen. Will definitely be keeping an eye out for future episodes!
EDITED: 05/15/19 Yay two reviews in a day! Bad news, its a negative review. This game is one that was ported from PC onto mobile, and due to the somewhat limiting nature of mobile, this game severely lacks any substance. And for what its worth the bumbling nature you give Grump kind of rubs me (a conservative irl) the wrong way. I don't mean that harshly but in all honesty it just feels like this game lacked polish. I know Koei Tecmo put a lot more time into their games, but their mobile ports to pc are generally done way better than this.
This game is terrific, phenomenal, brilliant. Some people have said it's the best. I'm not sure I would say that but some people do. Beginning to end is about 30 minutes which is the right amount of time for any game, believe me. It's plot is thin but the characters are fine people. At least some of them are, some of them are bad hombres if you know what I mean. Buy the game and drain the swamp!
Short and Sweet. A great game that is a lot of fun and truly hilarious. Crankage Games puts together some funny dialog with just the right amount of stupidity. These games say all the things people want to say but hold back.
Before you even touch the game stop and ask your self if you are easily offended. If you are fuck off and play Dora's Island Adventure. If not ask your self if you have a dark sense of humor. If not go read the news, it's all a big joke lately. BUT if you are not easily offended and you have a dark sense of humor buckle up and prepare for Agent Grump to have you giggling like the evil gnome you are.
Drain the swamp is a simple-to-learn, fun-to-play game, chock full of humor and contemporary political satire. We all can guess from the title who the main characters are supposed to be, but the game does not push an agenda left, right, or center. It makes one big joke out of all the real-life counterparts, making this game a hysterically fun time for anyone to play regardless of their leanings. I had a great time playing it and am Looking forward to more.
a review: i'd like to list a few pro's and a few cons. i don't usually review games, if at all, but if it gets your name into the algorithm, i'll do it, because you deserve your name out there. -pro's - the comedy is funny, it's enough to have a chuckle every now and then -the spoof characters are amazing, took me like 5 minutes or so to figure out the names xD and it made me laugh -the MUSIC is so chill, i don't know where you get your music for these stuff but i love them alright here's the cons. -cons -the grid based gameplay is really boring, honestly, after the story intro and it came on screen that it was a grid system game, i wasn't enthusiastic about it, i did try it, because i had to be fair and give it a chance, i got pretty far and the music helped with that -there really needs to be more power ups, and attacks, something to switch it up a bit. i hope these help man.
