Without spoiling - this game ends with a gimmick and does not contain a complete plot. If the game were free, this would be cute, but it's not free.

About This Game

Deathdays End contains a whopping cast of 11 youths with over half controllable in this volume alone. Each of them have their own distinct quirks and methods to survive the ordeal thrust upon them. Will morality win over? Or does survival of the fittest trump all.

Nothing special about this one. Before the adults died, Arryn lived a quiet life with his mother and adopted sister, Marie. Technically speaking, he is the main character of this game and serves as an introduction to the world, however let's be realistic for a moment. Can a completely ordinary 17 year old boy with no talent whatsoever really survive such a messed up world? Does this face really look like that of a seasoned warrior?

Dorothy's legal institution is a school specially made for young criminals. With ferocious punishments including physical abuse dealt by teachers on whims, Rex is someone that already has the necessary qualities needed to tough it out in the new world. The question is, why doesn't he have a last n - I mean how far will he go in his quest for survival?
Fair warning: He's a self-proclaimed psychopath.

Appearances may be deceiving, but this guy's a genius through and through. Born into money and perfect grades, you'd think Marcus had it all. Of course, nobody can be that perfect and beyond his innocent smile is a world of pain before the international tragedy even begins. Having a rocky relationship with his parents and now having to look after his sweet but frail younger sister alone, Marcus Levesque will need to use all his wits and intellect for them to have a chance at coming out alive.

Featuring:
- Three thrilling episodes combined into one action-packed volume
- A colourful cast of 11 over-the-top survivors
- Beautifully drawn CG images
- Calendar-based UI to increase tensions as a certain deadline draws near
- Unlockable medals depending on choices made in-game

What a deceiving game and such a disappointment. Honestly, I liked nearly everything about this game apart from being tricked. People, before buying the game know that IT IS NOT FINISHED. And even if the dev eventually finish it, I'm not even sure that we wouldn't need to pay once or twice more to get the end of it. As it is now, it is clearly not worth the cost unlike what they tell you in the demo version. I felt like refunding it but in the end I didn't, not because I spent more than 2 hours playing (I spent a little more time on it after making my mind to get all medals) but just because I'm still hoping for the end to come. But I'd like to insist on something, this is not what I spent money for. I didn't buy demo ver.2, I thought that I was buying a finished game, which is not. The description says "a week", I haven't been through half of it. We're collecting items for further use but... we end up having no use of them since nothing happens. By the way, the fact that it is not cl...
I really liked the potential for this game. I thought the story really started out interesting, even if it was a little bit slow moving. It is very incomplete though, and its been about a year and a half now since I played it and it has seen no update since then. I do not recommend it solely for the reason that it is probably not going anywhere.
I recommend this visual novel, but take into consideration that this VN is also much shorter than most. Just a casual-ish review. You play as three different main characters throughout three story volumes, with the first volume being the longest and serving as the introduction to the main story. Although the game as a whole is relatively short, there are choices to be made in each volume, as well as some grim and rather shocking moments to be uncovered as you read along. As implied by the developer, this is a teaser "demo" for a possible continuation of the story. All of that being said, if you're fine with the story being short and are still interested in giving it a try, I would recommend it. The rest of this review will just be my personal comments, so there's no need to read beyond this point unless you're curious. Personal Comments: If there is a continuation to this game, these comments are directed towards that subject. -I liked the implementation of an "inventory" in certain ...
Suspension of disbelief can only go so far in regards to the suspension of a little girls body. There was no actual foreshadowing which is sort of essential in games like these? Ladders are pretty common in supply closets which are also decently often in or connected to a bathroom, so that being used as an excuse is kinda stupid. Also, when going to start the second episode there is only reference to male or female titles, no nonbinary; this makes me feel excluded and as if the creator tried to make it seem inclusive but failed horribly. not worth the cents I paid.
I really love this game. It peaked my interest, and I'm curious to find out the rest of the game's story!
