i'll give this one a tentative yes because the core gameplay is a lot of fun (the side lanes are a bit of a learning curve but are integrated very nicely, once you're used to it it's a pretty engaging mechanic) but i must admit this game gives me a fair share of frustration, and not for gameplay reasons. the base song selection is nice, but it is relatively limited, and to get more you have to spend. and i mean SPEND. for a game that has a base price of $50, i think the complete dlc content costing over $600 even with a 20% discount is just vile. there are lots of similar games that cost SIGNIFICANTLY less; i wouldn't be upset about this being one of the more expensive ones, but it feels like it is dusting the cost of basically all of them. muse dash gave me quite a big selection for i think like $40? and the base game price wasn't even comparable. for less than i paid for this game with no dlc i got (to my recollection) most or all of the song selection for muse dash. i stress agai...

Told myself if I made it to 100 hours played, I'd write a little review. :D DJMAX is easily the best rhythm game you can own of Steam. Frequent updates, really great song selection, nice sense of progression and decent difficulty curves (Though some songs are ridiculous), and despite the price of some DLC's, sales are plentiful enough. Right, enough talk. I'm going back to play it!

As someone who loves rhythm games, i would really recommend this game. I remember how happy i was when i found out this game not only had 4 keys but 6 KEYS TOO (and more). and it did not dissapoint! the game also has so many cool features like being able to play freestyle, co-op ranked and unranked for funzies, and this suprisingly fun mode where you can chat with others WHILE playing the song. CRAZY! all in all i find the game really fun. Multipe gamemodes to cater to whatever you feel like doing.

I bought this and haven't played it for more than a month. I started it today and played 4 hours straight. For 2 hours, I was on an exercise bike and the time went really well. A great rhythm game with endless listed of songs although some songs I want to play are separate purchases..

One of the best libraries for a rhythm game I've had the pleasure to listen to, and the gameplay is super solid with constant updates. Easily top 3 rhythm games for me along with taiko and prosekai in terms of good music and fun gameplay.

Very addicting vsrg with an online ranking system, leaderboard, class system, and different button modes to make gameplay feel fresh. Probably my favorite keyboard rhythm game out there. I recommend and implore anyone wanting to try a new rhythm game to try this one out.

Extremely high quality for its price and content, even though some of the contents requires DLCs but doesn't affect much. I recommend getting it with Extension V DLC especially during sales, they are on sale pretty often
