Koichi Akiyama, an ordinary 22-year-old game developer, has been living a boring life until one day his younger sister Ai paid him a visit.
Soon after Ai moves in with Koichi, she claims that she wants to become a game developer too, so her brother has to teach her everything he knows.
The only problem is that Ai wants to create Hentai games, which puts Koichi in a dubious position.
From now on these two need to learn how to work together and explore all the difficulties of writing Hentai stories.

The release of this game seems a little...pre-mature, so to speak. The art is absolutely fantastic, nothing wrong there. My main issue stems from the main story that this game "attempts" to have. "Story in a primarily eroge focused game, what did you expect lol". I realize this, but the game offers these weird story threads that don't go anywhere or are just immediately resolved after we RAIN PURE DESTRUCTION ON IMOUTO'S HOOHAH. The bit with the box cutter originally had me intrigued, thinking this was going to be an expansion on a character's personality and an exploration of "crime by passion" or something like that. After I finished the game, I was just left wondering why that bit is even in there at all. It led to nothing, did nothing, and wasn't acknowledged again. Also, the second girl doesn't have a route and is only there to placate those who also like Yuri. Which, fair enough, but once again, the hint of a story is there and I can't help but feel as if the developers really ...

If you want a plot driven visual novel with choices this isn't for you, but if you want a "plot" driven visual novel this is pretty spicy 9/10 very cunningly ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Where to even begin with this review... I guess first off I'll echo what others have said in that the art is really nice and the only real highlight of this title. There's no voice acting, no choice, and the music sounds like background noise stuck on a 20 second loop most of the time. So, as it stands replayability is zero. I don't necessarily think this is a "bad" VN though, just disappointing. Throughout my 80 or 90 minutes, there are clear points where you can kind of see the glimmers of an interesting story. Sadly those moments are gone the moment they appear due to scenes ending abruptly and not getting explored at all. There's also a good amount of narration that ultimately serves no purpose and is more or less filler to pad out intermissions from the ecchi scenes. The main character will have an inner monologue where he rants about nothing when Ai isn't around, so none of this serves to get players invested in him or make him appear as anything more than a passenger in the sto...

I literally just bought this for the incest. However, I mean this game throws some confusing vibes throughout the whole experience. I manged to figure out some things before I was told the answer, but I really thought I was going to get something else. This is a great new addition in the Book of Ero. Good art ,and (at least to me) a "plot" that kept me wanting to know what was going to happen next. Ai/10 would be called onii-chan again

Just no... This VN has nothing of value to offer really. Don't get me wrong there is real talent behind the art in this VN. But the story is bad, it doesn't really make sense... It's like they tried to make a proper story but just gave up and rushed it. A lot of things are left unexplained and multiple scenes that are confusing in general. Card game was useless, what was even the point of that? Music is unmemorable, just super generic. No voice acting. All of the 18+ scenes are still images and can be found online with a quick Google search anyway, so don't even bother for those. TL;DR: Rushed story, unmemorable music, no voice acting, 18+ scenes can be found online. Don't bother, not even on sale.

Even with a -35% discount, Onii-chan Asobo is hardly worth-it. Sure it has a great visual, as can be seen in the product showcase, but it is harder to judge the story right away before we click the purchase button, unless you play the game. The story direction are painfully mediocre. Sure the characters has their own personality, but their interactions are weak. With quite numerous plot holes to be left unanswered as you stare at the "the end", it leaves a bitter aftertaste. You don't even know if the story is ending. Great art and cg's nonetheless. But what is a good visual novel without a worth-it story, right?

I gave up reading years ago, so I can only guess from the pictures in the gallery what the story must be. (I use a clicker to progress while doing other stuff). This seems to be about a poor blind guy (born without eyes). Fortunately he gets helped by a young girl that teaches him useful stuff like how to eat a banana. Great artwork! Edit: For a game about a blind guy it's sad that there is no voice acting. So blind people have now chance to enjoy this game...

The artwork carries this relatively short story from beginning to end. As other reviewers have mentioned, the story itself predictable, and the pacing gets clunky in an attempt to build tension for the finale. There are also quite a few noticeable typos and strange grammar (probably stemming from translation?) but if you just want to turn your brain off and enjoy the pretty paintings, this will scratch that itch for about an hour and a half. If you're looking for a visual treat and little else, this will do the job. If you're looking for compelling drama, romance, or character development, this game falls short.

Well, im going with a no vote at this time, only because of the price. this should be $1-2 Is the art good? it's stellar. the girl created is the answer to all mens fantasies. it's just $9 for 1 pic of 1 position is just alot to ask for, sorry. She's beautiful, you deserve credit for making everyone's dreamgirl a reality. but in your own story, there is at least 6 occasions for sex scenes to occur and..nothing. not even counting the 8+ times you had additional storylines for content in all the stories the characters themselves were writing. its just so much fail when content is falling from the sky. 1 position of 1 sex scene. 1 kiss of penis, and 1 suck. all still frames. everything else is normal art, all sfw. listen, i loved it, great stuff. the art style is very original. story was definitely there in terms of horniness, but 1 pic of 1 scene does not make a porn. makes for a vignette, but not a porn, and definitely not $9. this makes it very hard to purchase any upcoming works kno...

The art is excellent but the plot is threadbare, offers no choices of any sort or branching story options, and has zero replay value. Character development is shallow, there are numerous typos, and the H-scenes are sparse. Worst of all, you can finish the entire sequence in about 90 minutes flat. This visual novel looks great but is a terrible value for the money. Even for sale price, I can't recommend. At full price, this is just straight up robbery.
