LOGistICAL 2 is a large open-world, strategy, puzzle game where you transport different cargoes to complete all the towns throughout the country.

The whole game is a huge puzzle while each town is its own little piece of puzzling. There are thousands town and other items to complete.
Plenty of towns are easy enough. Some take complex planning. Do them in your own order. Get bonuses for completing regions and contracts.
Some cargoes are easy to get. Others you have to create in industries. Use existing industries and build your own.
The further you get from the start the more strategies you have to use.
Boost up your trucks with bonuses. Last truck delivering gets the bonus.
The towns, roads and map are to scale. Current or historical industry placement. It is very educational as well as entertaining.

There is plenty more to keep you on your toes.
Towns consume the cargoes you are trying to get to completion.
Big trucks are great for moving lots of stuff, but can't travel everywhere.
There are lots of broken roads that need deliveries.
Upgrade the industries for better exponential throughput.
Cargo stores can sure come in handy.
What! I can't take my big trucks across the water on a ferry.
... and what is with those quarantine checkpoints?

Complete towns, roads, industries, contracts, regions and states for lots of in-game and Steam achievements.

LOGistICAL 2 continues version 2 of the LOGistICAL puzzle family. The map has been enhanced and the towns are everywhere plus many other new functions.
Many new LOGistICAL 2 updates will also be backward compatible for LOGistICAL 1 modules.

* New road mapping
* Thousands of mini towns to complete with many different resource requirements
* Hundreds of towns and thousands of mailboxes and other places to complete
* Supply and finish many large cities
* Work your way through the long complex maze of road enhancements to finally allow all your large trucks access across the state or country

Go with LOGistlCAL 1 modules. This one is broken as of now. If you're new to the series try out Hawaii or Neterlands. Leave LOGistlCAL 2 on your wishlist until it's fixed.

This review was done against the "Washington" module. I had a whole long review here before Steam ate it so here's the short version since I don't want to rewrite the whole thing (seriously Steam?). Runs awful, is missing tons of quality of life features, freezes all the time, excessively complex in a way that's not terribly interesting or puzzling, extremely ugly, and overall a step down from the first game. Specific pain points are locking basic materials in annoying and hard to reach places (imo this should be reserved for more advanced industries, so there's a progression from basic -> advanced cargo), too much topographical detail (zoom in to upgrade the three pixel section of road you couldn't see!), and a lack of basic automation features besides "repeat task". Overall, there is a lack of design clarity which severely hurts this game. I'm going to keep playing. But the developer of this series needs to take a step back and do some serious QOL work on these titles. I've been...

Much more complex than L1. The added businesses and two way roads, alone make this a great enhancement to L1. Road upgrades are interesting, though I have not seen an interesting use of them yet, aside from allowing truck types to traverse. As with L1, UI could use some love from a designer. Map redraw is a huge problem. Lots of times I have to pan the map a few times just to get it to redraw roads.

I wasn't sure if i was going to stick with the game originally, only because the UI when you first start a module it takes a little bit to get used too. But i'm very glad I decided to stick with it. Every Module = Country, Your trucking company is responsible for delivering goods to industry as well as towns. You will also have roads to fix. Many roads with many different resources which you have to locate on that countries map. Sounds easy doesn't it. Well, that's not always the case, because sacada the developer always has tricks or puzzles up his sleeve. Some puzzles aren't to difficult, and some have me dumbfounded, like hmmm, how do i handle this wrinkle. For me this is one of the things about the game I really enjoy. The puzzles, can be anything like finding oil, or wood, or steel which is in high demand, or it could be obstacles like quarantines. Or how do i unlock an industry i need and have to fill. How many trucks will it take to fill what the population wants and fill it ...

I am really enjoying this game. Much of the time played is AFK, as I sometimes have to step away while routes run. Then I get sidetracked and watch a movie, and forget I left the game running. I played some of the original, but the IRL map data makes it different to where I won't go back, but rather wait for the old content to be retrofit to the new format. A couple tips. 1. Beware the 1-way streets to getting trucks trapped. Sometimes you have to either sell the truck or use a smaller truck to fix the road. 2. Back to point 1, sometimes a partially loaded truck will get stuck behind a restricted route. If you instruct the truck to dump it's entire load, it can deadhead on the lighter roads. If the truck is stuck with a partial load, you can cancel the load for a smaller penalty than selling and rebuying. A couple of wishes. 1. some way to click-lock a selection, so I don't have to keep the key pressed while dragging the truck to the destination. Either click lock and d...

LOGistICAL 2 features a much more complex road map and more things to complete than its predecessor. This game also introduced a lot of bugs which were not present in the original game, however at this point most of these have been fixed and the developer is very quick to update the game if you report any problems on the discord server. The gameplay is still very similar to the first game; while hard to get into at first, it is very satisfying to work towards completion. If you're not sure whether you like it there are free modules available to try it out. I very much enjoy the game as it fills a niche I didn't know existed at first, and offers more content than well over 99% of games out there, and I always look forward to a new module's release.

First Id just like to say thank you to Sacada for all his great games, and for this modul especially. Alot of my Steam friends probably wonder why i enjoy and play these particular games. Almost all of my Steam library is devoted to games that allow me to escape from reality or live an alternate version of it. Not these games though. These are wonderful to me for a whole nother reason. You see my step father drove Truck for a living. He drove everything from dump trucks all the way up to the double trailer semi's (he refused to haul triples, said they were to likely to dog tail.) I wont lie and pretend we had a great relationship while I was growing up, He was a hard man with plenty of his own faults. But i'll never forget the mornings he would get me up pre dawn, drive us out to the Truck, and take me out on the road with him. He always wanted his own truck, but never managed to get one. But these games remind me of him and those better days every time I play them. Id like ...
