First review aimed for English players. Parkan Iron Strategy is one of the four games in the Parkan series, three of which you can buy on Steam. The fourth one is an "expansion" to Iron Strategy named Part 2. The reason for it's abcense is it's Russian only localization, that's why you are limited to a Youtube walkthrough of it, if you can find one. One things for sure, it's hard. I've played and finished this game a LONG time ago. Replaying it now just shows that nothing has changed. Got nearly stomped by an easy AI at the beginning of a singleplayer map, but managed later on. Yes, by now the game is dated, both gameplay and graphic wise, and the rare and unique genre of FPS/RTS hybrid is so few and far between, with only about 3-4 games total, including this one, that did it right. It's not for the modern gamer, that's for sure, you'd have to go through the clunky controls in all senses, fight with AI that unless stands still, is dumbfound, with accuracy that rivals Stormtrooper...

Game is good, but this game needs a remaster, like please, please make a remaster of this game XD.
Great little game with rather unique robot limb mutilation mechanic that i never actually found executed fully in any other game. Robot loses all tracks, it can't move and slowly dies on spot, gun is lost or out of ammo, you can still crawl onto enemy repair station and fix it up. For me this is an example of a game with endless potential that was never really finished, never popular despite the uniqueness of the concept. I believe that microsoft even stole some of the code in a similarly made game. Really controversial. Anyway. Glad this piece of nostalgia is now available on steam.
Pretty good
This was one of the first ever pc games I played. At the time it was truly amazing to me and a tough game. Even now its still confusing at times tho I know my way around a keyboard a lot more since then. This game is still fun and a joy to play even today. Bring me back to the good old days.
