Different vibes compared to RE2R, and a lot more action-oriented, which was fun in its own way. You're always on the move, constantly running, it really feels like you're being hunted. I would have liked it to be a bit longer.
Resident Evil 3 is one of the best survival horror games that delivers an intense and thrilling experience. The engaging story is combined with fast-paced action and a terrifying atmosphere that keeps you hooked every moment. The remastered graphics and professional voice acting make the world feel very realistic and immersive. The design of enemies, especially Nemesis, adds a constant sense of threat and tension that increases the excitement. The fast gameplay and various challenges ensure a fresh and exciting experience each time you play. If you enjoy horror and action games, Resident Evil 3 is definitely one of the best choices. ---{ Graphics }--- ☐ You forget what reality is ☑️ Beautiful ☐ Good ☐ Decent ☐ Bad ☐ Don‘t look too long at it ☐ MS-DOS ---{ Gameplay }--- ☐ Very good ☑️ Good ☐ It's just gameplay ☐ Mehh.. ☐ Watch paint dry instead ☐ Just don't ---{ Audio }--- ☐ Eargasm ☑️ Very good ☐ Good ☐ Not to...
Resident Evil 3 Remake isn’t scary ... it’s scripted. Nemesis, once the unstoppable nightmare of the original, is now reduced to predictable cutscenes and over-the-top boss fights. No tension, no dread, just spectacle. Whole sections of the original game are gone: no Clock Tower, no park, no branching paths, no meaningful exploration. The city feels tiny, the puzzles are brain-dead simple, and the campaign is over before you know it. What’s left is a short, linear action game that trades atmosphere and replay value for flashy set pieces. It’s not the worst game out there, but if you came for survival horror, you’ll leave disappointed. Remake Nemesis is just a shell of a popular horror icon. If you get it for free or in a bundle, sure, add it to your library .... it’s a decent weekend distraction. But as a full-price purchase? Not recommended.
Resident Evil 3 Remake I can’t believe I actually put myself through the pain of 100% Achievements this game. Going for all the achievements was fucking brutal, and chasing that S Rank on Inferno difficulty is so stupid annoying af all the enemy placements, without the Infinite Rocket Launcher and the coin buff (Like Defense, Recovery and Damage buff) i don't think i can do inferno run... That said, there is one shining light here which is Carlos. His character is easily the best part of the remake. Compared to the original, he feels far more fleshed out his personality and his humor. Honestly, he steals the spotlight in a game that otherwise doesn’t live up to its potential. The cut-content, the brain-dead puzzle, nerfed Nemesis and that’s the biggest disappointment. The original Resident Evil 3 is one of my favorite game, but the remake just doesn’t capture what made it so special. The first time I finished it back at release, I felt nothing. Revisiting it now, I felt the ...
Feels like a sloppy, streamlined version of RE2. Puzzles—or lack thereof—were so monotonous, it’s like they were designed for monkeys. The classic RE level design and progression were especially lacking. The game seriously strained suspension of disbelief, as Jill would literally survive point-blank explosions in every cutscene, making her feel like another Lara Croft or Nathan Drake. Speaking of cutscenes, almost every encounter with Nemesis was either a cutscene or a two-minute event of holding the left stick forward. The story was so short it could have been an email.
ALL of Raccoon City was cut from the remake. It's barely the first section of the original and that's it. The majority of the game Nemesis appears in cutscenes rather than an actual stalker hunting Jill down. His design is literally a garbage bag with duct tape. The dodge mechanic is awful and Capcom should've brought back Julia Voth to reprise her role as Jill. They didn't even bring back mercenaries, which is a staple in the franchise.
Resident evil 3 is a fun and enjoyable experience much like it's predecessor. The gameplay is more action orientated with the ability to 'dodge' now. This does in my opinion make the game much more manageable when it comes to the higher difficulties e.g inferno. Once again the audio is outstanding with every environment feeling great with ambience. Graphic's and the game mechanics are pretty much the same as re2. Story isn't terrible, there just isn't much of it. The game is surprisingly pretty short, my first playthrough on hardcore only took 3 hours. (Just for that reason I wouldn't pay full price) So yes i would recommend this game WHEN it's on sale. This seriously could of been a dlc for re2...
This is one if not the worst wanna be horror game I have played so far. I do not care about the main protagonist . She's not likeable at all. She's constantly putting herself in idiotic situations in which she should be killed instantly luckily she didn't forget to wear her plot armor so she is fine. Nemesis is an absolute joke. He wasn't scary. He just looks dangerous whilst being a kitty level threat. I did not care about the story at all. This whole game is a cutscene simulator. You walk 5 feet: a cutscene after the cutscene another one plays which is followed by the most boring, tedious dialogue in human history. The section where you play as Carlos was the only enyoable section because the character is not a poorly written bitch who needs to be rescued every two minutes after which he preteds that everything was under her control all along. This game would have been much better if the whole thing focused on Carlos. Or maybe, just maybe learn to write interesting female protagonist...
Game feel like a DLC of RE2R. Too many cut scenes, game is really short. The final fight was dumb. puzzle were dumb. This game doesn't feel like a RE game.
