Saints Row 2 brings true freedom to open-world gaming. Players can play as who they want, how they want, and with whomever they want in this sequel to the much acclaimed and tremendously successful Saints Row.
Set years after the original, the player finds himself in a Stilwater both familiar and strange and challenged with bringing the Saints back as the rightful kings of Stilwater and bringing vengeance to those who wronged him.

Limitless Customization - Play as fully customizable characters that are male, female or something in between.
- Vehicles can be visually customized as well as performance tuned.
- Cribs and even gangs all have an amazing degree of detailed customization options.
Multiplayer - Co-op full story campaign has seamless integration (for example one player drives while the other shoots).

Very Important Note for anyone buying this game for the first time, and or if you've been a fan returning back to it many years later - Download 'Saints Row 2 Juiced' Mod. It makes the game completely playable on the PC. I've been waiting for a near perfect fix ever since and now its manifested. Totally brings me back memories playing this on the Play Station 3.

Whichever company is in charge of receiving sales and maintaining the servers for SR2 seriously needs to do a patch. Constant crashes and frame drop. Awful graphics and sound quality compared to the xbox 360. The DLCs are not included and I'm not seeing a verison in which they are. Don't buy unless you're a megafan like me and will play anything Saints Row related.

Played this after SR3 and 4, so it felt a bit primitive. But it's very entertaining, though the car handling is a bit janky. 130 hours to complete.

Emulate this game on Xenia instead, it's just not worth it, even with the GOTR patch and replacing the exe with the GOG version, this game constantly crashes and sometimes has fps drops. This game is awesome but the PC port is awful. + The juiced patch doesn't work for me, it just stops my game from opening. Rest in peace IdolNinja

Great game, horrible port. The game's clock speed is still tied to the Xbox 360, so if you have a better CPU than that, the game's speed will be insane. This, along with constant crashes, make this a miserable experience. It is unplayable without the Juiced Patch (if only the patch IdolNinja died for came out...) and a mod to increase the sound quality of the radio tracks, because holy hell, it is nails on a chalkboard. I still recommend this because its a great game, but they should not be allowed to sell this in its current state.
