About This Game
- Sisters of Battle
The Chamber Militant of the Emperor’s Holy Inquisition. Limited in numbers but incredibly powerful, the Sisters of Battle are second only to the Space Marines in terms of sheer fighting prowess. Ranging from the Sisters Repentia with their devastating ceremonial eviscerators to the awe-inspiring Penitent Engine, the Sisters of Battle are truly a force to be feared. - Dark Eldar
Twisted and corrupt cousins of the Eldar, these terrifying raiders from the furthest reaches of the Webway are feared and hated by all. Their incredible speed, reliance on close quarter combat and stunning and poisoning abilities allows them to quickly strike an enemy and be gone before reinforcements can arrive. - Devastating air attacks
Strategic warfare in the 41st Millennium reaches new heights as each army gains air units to rain death from the skies. - Brutal domination
Wage war across the entire solar system as the metagame map introduced in Dark Crusade is expanded to an interplanetary scale. Liberate, enslave, or destroy entire worlds as you unleash your armies’ fury across the galaxy. Players must now strive to conquer an entire solar system with multiple planets and moons to be conquered. In total 34 maps are available to the player. - Enhanced customization
Customize your hero’s weapons, items and abilities as he grows in power and personalize your army’s insignias, colors, banners and names. Earn and unlock achievements and medals to showcase your superiority online.

After a thousand battles, one only sees... a damn great game! One of the best RTS games and literally the best RTS in Warhammer 40k universe. Exactly the first game achieved the most accurate representation of the 40k lore. No any other game can come even close in this case. Even later DoW games (especially the 3rd one). Grotesque tanks, lasers and plasma cannons, demons, space marines and space nuns, huge carnivores, chain swords and axes, sadists and psychopaths, mutants and robotic bugs and much more - everything has it's twisted sense. Everything looks fascinating. Everything sounds cool. And everything still plays good even after all these years. And animations. Look at those damn animations! Look at that level of details and brutality! There is simply no any other games like this. Of course I strongly recommend you to dive into this old school universe of mindless and everlasting slaughter, if for some reasons you have not done it before. I believe I have exhaused all possible ways to play this game. Yet my playtime keeps increasing...
I watched my elder brother play this game when I was a kid 20 years ago. He has forgotten about it but I haven't. It was wonderful playing this game finally for the first time. I played this with unification mod with changes to campaign and its definitely a lot harder. If you are thinking of buying this game, you may as well get the DoW Definitive Edition instead.
Best strategy game I've played! I don't like the play style of the newer Dawn of Wars (2 and up) I like the base building and army building in this game a lot as it's more free to you and your base is not just where your spawn is as you can take over different strategic points on the map and make mini bases or just have a whole 2nd base. I'm psychotically addicted to the large and bloody battles that WILL happen and you can watch as all the bodies pile up and look over the aftermath of large intense battles. definitely worth checking out. The skirmish Player vs AI in here is pretty balanced to the difficulties and is quite addicting to slave hours away just building your armies in countless skirmish matches.
I mean its ok. Its only like one of the most influential and pivotal games ever made but what do i know. 11/10
Very fun game, Remember playing this when i was 6 and i sucked but it was plenty fun. I'm 15 now and still suck just not as much, still just as fun as i remember.
The simple tactic's, simple rss gathering, but the replay ability especially with a friend is just awesome. I've played this since it first came out and am still playing.
Love the Necrons and the Sisters of Battle. Gameplay is awesome and very high maintenance.
good game
