only giving it a thumbs up cause it was an alright game that is definitely worth playing. (especially if you use 2x speed through tools) it's more of an exploration / grindy game, than farming sim imo. the farm is just there so you can spam your cooking so you can maintain energy for grinding, or get some upgrades. hate the fishing system. if you love exploration and farming or cooking, this game might be for you. the combat is absolutely horrendous and boring and monotone, theres no monster variety, just the 2 same ghost monsters throughout the game. (its only story or trial related, so you wont see them in the normal gameplay) overall it was an alright game, if i had to rate id probably give it a 6/10.

I picked this game up on sale for $3.74, and now I’m already 17 hours in — and genuinely loving it! The story has been really enjoyable so far, and the overall vibe is wonderfully cozy. Combat doesn’t come into play until later in the story, and even then it’s simple and easy to handle (though I haven’t reached the late-game yet). If you’re looking for a combat-heavy adventure, this probably isn’t the game for you. But if you enjoy cozy exploration, farming, decorating, and building relationships with characters while following a story, then this is right up your alley. You can spend time focusing on your camp, but progressing through the story is important to unlock new features. My biggest gripe early on was how slowly the character runs and how quickly energy runs out when sprinting or performing actions. I had high hoped for this cozy castaway adventure game after enjoying one of this studio's other games, the Harry Potter in all but name rogue-like Spells and Secrets, but this one is just too bland to get into. Perhaps the plodding pace is because this game was originally an Apple Arcade title and needed to keep you locked in so you'd keep paying the monthly subscription fee, but there are a lot of little problems that built up over what could have been a very enjoyable exploration game. Here is a list of problems I found with the game: 1. I got hit with some bad RNG during the early game and it took me well over an hour to find a critical crafting item to complete one of the early questlines. I needed to find two pieces of scrap metal, a crafting resource that spawns in the boxes and barrels you will find washed up on the beaches. These collection points replenish every couple of days with new materials and it seems to decided at random what items they will give you. I got a bunch...

A bug won't let me play. For some reason, I could play for first 8 hours. Then I tried to log in and all I get after made by Unity logo is a white screen. I tried to reinstall it, but it didn't fix the bug, so, a bug won't let me play the game. It was fun before that, I liked it, but such a bug is a bit "game-breaking". EDIT: Ok, I restarted my computer and it works again. Soooooo ... that was strange. It is a nice game, I agree with other comments, but most issues with energy can be solved by cooking. So, if you have problems with energy-management, try doing that. At least for now it works for me.
