I want to like this game, I really do. It has a unique and beautiful art style, it's challenging without being unfair, and the pacing of the areas feels great. But the fact that there is no weapon info either in game or in the menu kills this for me. It feels terrible picking up a weapon having absolutely no idea how it's going to perform and chances are you've cleared the area so you need to find an enemy to even test it out. If it turns out you don't like how the weapon performs, or god forbid it's just a straight downgrade, then you need to backtrack to get your previous weapon or trek on until you can roll the dice again.

this game actually makes me wanna kms, but its a cool concept and fun so ill give it a thumbs up
Enjoying this game a lot. Roguelike western shooter with a classic arcade game feel.
Unfortunately the game is unplayable for me. It reliably crashes within a minute or two every time. I have also tried some things mentioned in forums but none helped. Ill change the review to positive when the game doesn't crash.
I love it. You can tell this game is made with love. The gameplay is really fun and the game keeps adding different playstyles.
idk what the other commenters are talking about but this is sadly quite boring and repetitive, which I wish I didn't have to say.
Fun in short doses. Pros: - Large variety of weapons. - Combat can be tense. - Aesthetic is simple, but rustic in a good way. Cons: - Upgrades don't feel as useful as they should. - Later into a run, it's clear which weapon types are superior, making the others redundant.
So anyway, I started blasting
very fun and simple rougelike
Aahhh yesss.... Colt Canyon, the great grandson of the 1975 arcade game called, Gun Fight. A lot has changed since then, for the better of course. Gun Fight would be proud knowing Colt Canyon is a worthy successor..... How would I know? I was there back then in 75 at the age of 9 and yep, I played Gun Fight.
Colt Canyon carries the spirit of Gun Fight, without a doubt.

RECOMMENDED
I have spoken.
