About the Game

The King was murdered.
The assassins have not been found. And the threat of rebellion hangs over the land.

With the succession thrown open and none of the three Royal Princes ready to take the throne, the King’s brother has assumed the Regency.

Hoping to protect the nation and its people and help the rightful heir to the throne, the Regent has sought the help from the High Council, a neutral and influential faction of powerful magicians. The delegate it has sent, however, isn’t someone the Eskian aristocracy prefers, for more reasons than it seems.

You are the scion of the ancient Rosenkreuz family, the High Council’s delegate and newly appointed Tutor to the Royal Princes. Can you navigate the maze of Eskian politics and guide the princes on the path of power? Or will you succumb to the murky intrigues of the court, and the ever-present danger of assassins?

💮🌸💮 I'll be honest, I wanted to love this game. I tried. But the stat system made the experience so stressful that I found myself obsessively saving and reloading, just to get the right amount of “likeness” required to unlock the ending I was aiming for. The game claims to prioritize story over romance, but the plot twists felt abrupt more like sharp turns than meaningful revelations. I kept waiting to feel something real between the main character and Aurelius, but the connection never truly landed. It wasn't until around week 30 out of 57 that it even began to feel like I was actually romancing him. And then the ending arrived with a hollow finality, leaving me asking, "That’s it?" Instead of building relationships or exploring character depth, I spent most of my time tutoring or crafting repetitive tasks that felt more like grinding for stats than engaging in a meaningful narrative. It was disheartening to realize that the route to a “good” ending depended less...

This is a wonderfully made visual novel/otome game! The artwork is immaculate, the romance tugs at your heart strings, the plot takes you for a wild ride of twists and turns where the player may THINK they know where its going - but the player really doesn't know anything at all. Balancing missions and lectures while still making items through alchemy to improve the MC's relations with other factions is a delicate process, especially when playing Normal Mode. I foolishly thought I could hack it, but it's actually pretty difficult to do. You have my respect if you play on Normal Mode and actually get through the entirety of the game. All in all, this game is worth buying at full price.
