The game has promise, but that promise is a long way off. Track editor is unintuitive and difficult to use. Game play is very fast and unforgiving. Crashes feel more like glitches than collisions. Gravity feels extreme, making jumps unsatisfying. It's very pretty for the price, and the sound design is on point though. I'll give this game another look in about a year to see how far it's come.

This isn't really a 'recommendation', more a show of my support in the development of what has some great potential for a very nice AG racing game.
has potential, but approach with caution
it's in very very early access. but this show some promisse already. i'm surprised it didn't show on my radar sooner for an AG-racer fan like me. however, i must stress that the content of some tracks in the game is very, very incomplete. with some of them being unplayable (Terraformer is a good example on it). water surfaces are glitchy, and the ships needs more grip in my honest opnion... since, there seems to be no "brake" to speak of (you can decelerate if you let go of trottle tho, but the deceleration is very steep, so my strategy is to have a fine control on the trigger buttons, be tapping or gently pressing it on curves, to get the maximum my ship can give). lots of placeholders and stuff to be completed yet, but hey... it's a very early access game, so it is to be expected. 8 months on Early Access tho i think is a steep deadline in my opnion given the current situation of the world. if i were the developer i would give me mo...

This game has come a long way, there's been a number of improvements, the handling is better, there's more tracks available now and the overall feel of the game has been polished with better controller support all around. Worth checking out.

There's something off about this game, and I can't quite put my finger on it, but whatever it is gives me a headache.

While this game is far from finished, I like the physics so far. It has a feel of Wipeout Fusion and a little bit of Pacer, while the tracks remind me of Redout. While the ship currently jitters a bit on corners, giving it a less solid feel, and there is currently no pitch control, I like the direction this is going in. Music is good, suits the game's aesthetics well. Like Redout, this game looks better in motion than it does in stills. I think it is worth the money and will be keeping a close eye on this one.

So far, this game has been highly unstable. Sometimes on some courses that I have raced on, I would constantly fly off the course for no reason. There would also be times where the main menu wouldn't load after a race. You could still go through it, but you would not be able to tell where you are in the menu since everything is black. I would suggest leaving this alone for at least a few years when its more successful. I just don't want to play a game that's just unstable and glitched.

My first review was from march 2021 and the game was unplayable back then. 3 years later it still is unplayable, the visuals bug out like crazy and my ship is only half visible in the bottom right corner of my screen. You can't change controller keybindings in 2024. The menu controls with controller are as bad as in 2021. I had really high hopes that the game would turn out great over time but nope. If you're looking for an easy to pick up AG racer check out redout 1 and if you want a more hardcore but also way more rewarding experience buy Redout 2..
