About This Game

INESCAPABLE HORROR

IMMURE is a story driven, psychological horror game. Will, the protagonist, has found himself trapped inside a foreboding Mansion with no exit. Art and ambiance are great. Exactly the kind of game I love, a la Fran Bow. Or so it appeared. Ultimately, I've spent about 9 minutes with this game and that's all I'm going to spend because
wouldn't you know it, there's a freaking monster you have to hide from that kills you constantly within that timeframe. I don't like survival escape-the-monster games. If I'd known that's what this game was, I wouldn't have spent the money.
Although the game isn't for me because of that, I wholeheartedly recommend this! It's well worth the money. The animations and sound are fabulous. I sincerely hope to see and play more by these folks soon!

If you've played the demo for this game on itch, DO NOT buy this! This is literally the exact same excerpt from that demo, only with a price tag of $8. I picked this up thinking it'd be more than that, but it's pretty much identical from what I can tell. At most, there's some cut scenes or other small tidbits in this paid version. That set aside, It's a great side scroller horror game. The art style is neat, the atmosphere is creepy and slightly unnerving. There's not a lot of jumpscares, but getting chased by angry kill monsters is pretty stressful. Sound design is pretty solid and lets you know when threats are coming or going. Everything is pretty well thought out though I think if I had to be nit picky, the game tends to dive back and forth between trying to be funny and trying to be creepy. It doesn't always mix particularly well, but overall it was still enjoyable. The game itself is a fun playthrough as a horror point and click adventure, but I still can't recommend it as it's...

Well then...Thats my first review, but i thought i should do one I first played Immure after i watched a video from Markiplier about it. At that point, there was only a Demo available with the first Chapter. I loved the art style, the story (so far) and the idea behind it all. I do not know wether or not the "decissions" (do not want to spoil anything) have an impact on the story, for the only chapter is chapter one, but to have a choice what to do gives a small feeling of freedom, in a game, which just could have been straight forward. Its not an AAA title, but it does not have to be. Even if only the first Chapter is availabe, iam looking forward to future Chapters and additions to the story. For everyone who is not sure about wether or not to buy that game, check out the Demo or/and the Gameplay from Markiplier. They changed some things, but overall the first chapter remained the same.

Though "Chapter One" is simply the demo with the addition of saves and some added cut scenes, I love this game so far and am excited to see where it goes. I was disappointed the kickstarter didn't make it's goal, but that was due entirely to the lack of buzz surrounding the game. Not enough people knew about it to contribute. The game itself is very original with a tantalizing premise and the potential for dozens of nightmarish environments, story lines and enemies. I hope that the money Chapter One makes on Steam will be enough to fund the rest of the game. Best of luck game devs! You've made something truly wonderful!

The stats at the end of the game sad that it took 28:57 minutes to play through this game. For the price of 6,59 Euro it feels a little bit overpriced. There is a replayability to get another outcome and add some playtime but that’s not for me. But beside the short playtime I also liked to go through it. The art style is cool and the game plays well with the steam controller. The game mechanics works very fluently. The story so far was interesting and I wanted to play and know more. I would recommend the game with the playtime and the cash to spent in mind. I also looking forward to upcoming parts. And thank you for supporting
Linux
It saddens me that this game isn't more popular, the writing and story is so compelling. After I watched Markiplier play this recently (it was an old video I somehow skipped over) I felt like I had to see more. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the second level had a completely different feel to it! In the first level with the Fireman, I honestly got really sick of the main enemy because it felt like he followed me everywhere I went, less like he was patrolling the halls and more like he was following me... almost like he was puppy guarding me.But I still loved to story and style, and I'm always a sucker for puzzles. The second chapter was sooo much better, the only time there was even a main enemy was at the very end, as you spend the entire level interrogating two sisters who are badly injured and their parents murdered, trying to discern which of them did it as they blame each other. I loved the detective nature of the second chapter, plus, I felt the characters were ext...

So far the game is very enjoyable and the easter eggs from Sally face are also cute if u played it ! Over all i recomand playing it but the only minus is that u dont get that much to play for 6.5 € ! I sincerely recomand to wait for the entire game to be relased and then buying it all for a good price !

I'm honestly a bit disappointed in the length of the first episode. If you played the demo, then you've basically seen all it has to offer. While I understand that the team needs funding, it still would have been nice to get at least an additional section. I'm still rating it positively as I would love to see more of this game. It's got a good mixture of spooky atmosphere, investigation and story. It offers two ways of solving the first story. I'm curious what consequences this will have in future episodes. So in the end, try the game out and buy it, if you want to support the developers and see more.

Well apart from P1 being just like DEMO with almost no additional content ... I wouldn't have bought it if I knew this would be the case. The best part is that Part 1 now went free and now we have to buy Part 2 so basically it was a SCAM of sort. I support the developer as the game was nice but such practice is just... unexcusable.
