Puzzle Plunder

Arr! Puzzle Plunder is a lovely crafted match three game within a pirate setting. The art is well done and the gameplay also feels smooth. You have to match the several items (Flags, Swords, Keys, Rum, Gold and Buckets) in order to gain certain effects or accomplish things. E.g. in order to "sail" through the level, you have to match flags. In order to defeat bosses, you have to match swords and so on. You also gain loot, which you can use to upgrade your ship. The upgrade part also feels pretty good, because you can really feel the difference it makes everytime you upgrade. And the best part: IT'S FREE and a ton of fun. I can definitely recommend it!

Well, Pirates and Match 3, does this match? Yes, it truly does. Here we have another Pearl from Mr. Windybeard. It is a really simple done Game. But highly addictive. Again, Mr. Windybears. What is your secret? :-) You have a pirate ship and with the Match 3 Game you bring it to live. Collect Flags to move and collect Buckets, to avoid sinking. As relaxing as this game is, Water is running into your ship and that brings you a little pressure. But don`t worry, on your Journey you will find Presents and can buy usefull things like the Golden Bucket, that will remove all of your Water one time. You also will arrive places, that you have to master with the Match 3 Game and you will gain Plunder that brings you Gold. And with that Gold you can raise your ship with upgrades. if you loose because of sinking your ship, you don`t loose this upgrades. You can take them to your next Journey and it will restart. Also we have fair Achievements to master and nice Pirate Audios with relaxing Musi...

So, this is a match 3 type puzzle game. It's also crazy addictive and the soundtrack is really easy to listen to. You can see that the developer has put time into the game, with its great original artwork and I think it was time well spent. I've really enjoyed playing this far and have no doubt I will lose many more hours to the game in the future, chasing after the unlockables and working through the progression. I downloaded this game after watching the developer, on Twitch, working on the new DLC for Halloween. I have bought the DLC as well and I think the developer is a really nice, talented guy. Ill be taking a look at his other games.

puzzle plunder is by all means the best match 3 game I've played! This isn't your run of the mill match 3 game though, you are captaining a pirate ship through the vast seas and you must match different piratey items in order to make progress. As you advance through each port, you collect items that can be used towards upgrading your ship. The game is insanely addictive. As with all the games windybeard makes the art is amazing as is the soundtrack. I recommend everyone to play it. This game is legitimately free to play. there are no in game purchases, but i do recommend getting one of the DLC's to at least support the developer!

Really enjoyable fun game. Very addictive. I also have a new found hatred for buckets and sinking ships.

A wonderful, chilled out, 3-in-a-row style puzzle game with plenty of collectibles and progression to keep you coming back for more. Great to pick up and play for a few minutes, or to relax for an hour or two while you're travelling or waiting for Big Wincey to get back from his drilling mission. Very nice graphics and the music is amaaaaaazing... Oh, and it's FREE! Why haven't you already got it?!

I enjoy picking up a game thats simple to play. This game is a simple match 3 game, but with some twists that make it worth playing. It never gets boring because you have limitations. The preasure builds, the adrenaline flows, and then there is the calm before the storm. To anyone looking for a FREE game, it's one you can pick up and play at any time, for a quick game, to a long game. I love the pirate theme, the music, the sound effects, the art. I have personally bought the game (DLC), because I believe in supporting developers that put the time and effort in to giving without expecting anything back. The world needs more developers like this... I anyone reading this would agree. If anyone can get over level 27, i tip my hat to you!

Pretty bad match 3 game, doesn't even have the option to click and drag pieces. You can run out of moves without the game doing anything about it, all you can do is end the run at that point. Also the vampire tileset is pretty bad as there are two brown and two silver tiles that look too similiar.
