About This Game
You are afraid. You are forced to hide. Those who served you till recently have suddenly turned against you. Now they hunt you. They’ve kidnapped your friends and family. You have no idea where they are or what’s become of them. There is nothing you can do about it. Your only option is to hide, surviving with no hope, not understanding what’s going on around you. You are an outcast, an outlaw because you are human.
Humankind has disappeared. Robots rule the Earth now. In The Uncertain: Last Quiet Day, we saw an inventor robot named RT join a small group of like-minded machines trying to help the few surviving humans.
The protagonist of Light At The End is one of these survivors—a girl named Emily. Together with Emily, one of the outcasts, you will have to survive in a world ruled by robots, searching for clues about the human disappearance. Was it an AI gone rogue or something else altogether?
Game features:
- Jump on a third-person sci-fi adventure in a world dominated by robots.
- Learn about the past and present world by interacting with it.
- Solve unique puzzles
- Make plot-driving decisions
- Enjoy beautiful locations and mood-setting music

The story is interesting, but just like the first part, this is still more of a short demo, with painfully slow action animations. Compared to the first game, there are way more bugs this time, and sadly, the devs don’t seem to care. On the logical side, robots have terrible accuracy, and shooting at humans makes little sense if they’re supposed to be transporting them somewhere. Human animations also look awkward and unpolished. And judging by the way things are left, there probably won’t be a continuation. One of the few positives in this part is that we’re no longer limited to a single dialogue option. I still can’t recommend buying this at full price — honestly, it’s only worth playing the first part.
The story of this game feels unfinished, almost like a demo. At the end, it becomes hectic and new topics are introduced that don't have time to be resolved. Still, it's not really exciting. Most of the characters are unlikable, and I can't understand why Emily still refers to them as 'friends' or 'family' at the end. Yes, I got the bad ending, but it feels right. As far as the technical implementation is concerned, there are a few bugs. Sometimes the UI text appears in Russian and the game cannot be fully controlled with the game controller. To exit the detailed view when examining an object, I had to use the keyboard. One of the puzzles, where you had to navigate triangles through a circular field with moving lines, was completely unsolvable. Apart from the stealth sections, which pose no challenge whatsoever, most of the puzzles were good. There was only one that I didn't know how to solve (it involved finding a numerical code) and another puzzle (where you had to find a way throug...
