Guard of Wonderland

Like for Alice, like for story and like for the poetry in twisted Wonderland VN!

I just finished playing Guard of Wonderland today, using the blonde Alice character. I am a fan of the Alice books and read Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, Through the Looking Glass, and even Hunting of the Snark. Guard of Wonderland is interesting and fun, but short and at a few points confusing. Overall though, I do recommend the game to fans of Lewis Carroll’s Alice works. I will go through what I felt were the pros and cons of Guard of Wonderland here, and will try to avoid spoilers. Pros 1. The game has a good atmosphere. It is colorful, and holding the right mouse button allows one to look around the environment. There are weather effects like rain, as well as atmospheric sounds like birds chirping. 2. The music was very soothing and contributed to the feel of the game. 3. You save automatically upon quitting, wherever you are. I needed to quit the game a few times and was happy to find afterwards that I resumed right where I left off. 4. The verse style in whi...

If you are fan of Alice in Wonderland, this will definately make you happy! A totally new story with an interesting twist. A strong and interesting game!

So Guard of Wonderland I never thought about myself as a fan of such kind of games, but I love Alice too much to miss any game about this character. All in all I wasn't disappointed and actually I was even surprised. We've got many cool stuff in here: stylish characters - check, wonderful story - check, nice art - check, great music - check, good writing - check. At the very beginning the combat system seemed a little bit weird, but later I understood that it's supposed to be like this - we are in Wonderland eventually! And everything in here obey strange logic that is hard to explain but actually easy to understand. Verdict: It's a good adventure for Alice fans, everything is done with a big respect and love to the world created by Lewis Carroll.

I used to play in the VR version of Guard and now I am impressed with the progress that guys have made. The combat system has been changed - now we are going to receive items and choose the right one for an enemy type attack. In addition, we can now use the allies and weapons of each hero. In addition - I like the main menu of the game (now it is iteractive and has a storm (you will find out why there are no spoilers), corrected errors of the VR version - Great job, WG team! Will be waiting for the next part of this game!

Good VN game for Wonderland fans! Nice battle mode - didn't seen this type of battles in VN games.

OMG! FINALLY!! I have been following this project since the release on the VR-platform, and I have been waiting for the PC-release and now, here it is! Well... What can I say, the game meets expectations. As it was promised - the whole plot is really written in verse (I can’t imagine how you did it), There are rather simple, but addictive battles, but the most important thing is, that the plot is really deep, complicated and goes darker and darker as you walking through the chapters. I can probably only say one thing foe sure; you can hardly expect to see such Wonderland.

Nice small VN in AliceWonderlands setting I enjoied playing with my younger sister. On the plus side: - Story is interesting and coherent to initial book atmosphere - Graphics are fair for the genre Cons: Battle is not my fruit here Scaling of text is kind of unusual Clicking only on buttons rather than whole screen seems strange. Overall, nice experiecne.

First of I love Alice in Wonderland universe. No matter original, McGee interpretation or this one. There is something in between McGee's variant and original, mature dialogues with fairy tale flair. I have a dissonance between hand-painted characters and background, but it's okay, I guess. The main purpose, tell a story, this game performs one hundred percent.

Я запустил эту игрулю, и видюха взревела оборотами... Увидев поляну с красивым графонием, подумал - ща разомнемся, благо люблю шутеры от первого лица. Но, сорян, только статичный вид от первого лица и крошилово каких-то картонных монстров (зачем тогда 3D поляна??) Уверен, дальше все будет круче
