What was a C+ then is an A- now. Perhaps back in the day it felt dated, but today it just feels comfortable. Edit: Okay, maybe more of a B+. I got it for less than five bucks, and for that, I'd still give it a very solid thumbs up.

I loved the original mechanic in the gameplay of the Defibrillator. If it wasn't for that, I would still be finishing the campaign. On the contrary, I hated that there was no way to open the whole world map. The missions were fun and exciting, but the story was meh... I have to admit that the NPC greetings as soon as I started doing the missions and winning races made me feel better. They recognized my efforts better than my parents.
actually i love this game because its totally nostalgia! but there are some missing things in here . for example double barrel shotgun is removed and theres no way to find it or buy in shops while it wasnt an issue in Xbox version or others!! fists are missing and also super modern outfit is removed in steam version . im totally disappointed!!!
Rage is a solid post-apocalyptic FPS that is similar to games like Mad Max and Borderlands. Before finding it in the steam store I never heard about it so I was pleasantly surprised. I found it very entertaining from start to finish. The most important strengths are the very good graphics ( excellent for a game made in 2010 ) and the combat gameplay, which is smooth and fun. Mind you, it's very linear. The game's world is somewhat large, but this is not an open world game like Mad Max. Nor is this a complex survival game. The various locations unlock only for quests, and the space between is only for traveling between point A and point B. It's just a shooter placed in a post-apocaliptic world with a decent story, with interesting communities of survivors that give you main and side quests, a nice variation of enemy factions and a good selection of weapons. You can upgrade your gear and your vehicles. There is no mini-map, so it's difficult finding specific locations when you don...
i actually really love this game and have great memories of when it came out but sadly this version seems turbo scuffed on modern os so gootbye i have spent COUNTLess hours looking at the girl in the starting village who teaches you how to throw a wingstic k i am straight up jerking my wingstick to her think about it
the ending was sick and if you complete story mode you get to roam freely at the end and explore places they wouldn't let you explore in the campaign. Overall i would rate this game an easy 9.9/10
I have only played this game for 12 hours, but I wonder how it flew under the radar. A game this fun to play should be a contender for awards. It is kinda like a cross between Borderlands meets Mad Max. The game play is smooth, the guns are satisfying and the visuals will knock your socks off. Hats off to Bethesda and Id for another world to explore.
This is when ID Realms studios tries to cosplay Fallout or Bordelands series franchise. It does not compare when it's RPG and choices of routes but still a good play if you either are a fan of both series. 7.5 out of 10.
RAGE is a pseudo looter-shooter that tries to do many things, but unfortunately falls short on most fronts. It's also weighed down by half-baked mechanics, repetitive gameplay, and mediocre writing. However, underneath its numerous flaws, and identity crisis lies a very solid FPS well worth a playthrough. Moreover, the thing about this game is that many of its issues work in its favor, such as its dull aesthetics, which serve to reinforce the gritty and post-apocalyptic feel of the world, the claustrophobic dungeons, which work in pairs with the machete-wielding maniacs constantly charging at you, and the short and concise writing, which doesn't get in the way of the gameplay. Ok, the last one is pushing it, but I'm a bit biased, as I'd rather kill people, than to romance them. Jokes aside, the game has quite a few positives, and not just incidental ones. The gunplay is by far its best feature, being fast-paced and engaging, and featuring few but satisfying weapons, with different amm...
A fever dream. Its like Mad Max and the early Borderland games.
