About the Game

In Alaloth: Champions of the Four Kingdoms, the fate of a land ravaged by ancient rivalries and dark forces lies in your hands. Step into the beautifully brutal world of Plamen, a realm divided among kingdoms, each with its own unique cultures, mysteries, and conflicts. Guided by tales of honor and vengeance, you take on the role of a mighty champion, forging your path to glory and fighting to withstand the ever-growing corruption of Alaloth, a malevolent god imprisoned in the mortal realm.

The vast, fully explorable world of Plamen awaits, a realm of sprawling kingdoms and wild frontiers, each filled with unique inhabitants and dangers at every turn. Journey through lush forests, towering mountains, and barren wastelands where the four distinct races have carved out their own domains, each with complex histories and turbulent relationships. Alongside warriors and rogues, you’ll encounter powerful mages who have honed their skills across diverse schools, from elemental mages wielding fire and lightning to necromancers drawing power from dark realms. As you venture deeper, prepare to face deadly mobs and legendary beasts twisted by Alaloth’s corruption, their very existence a test of your skill and strategy. Everywhere you go, ancient ruins, sacred sites, and thriving cities offer stories waiting to unfold tales of lost civilizations, epic rivalries, and secrets guarded for centuries. Each region brims with lore, quests, and characters that reveal the layered history of Plamen, creating an unforgettable experience in a world where every decision shapes your journey.

I grinded for eight hours. I saved every gold coin to eventually buy resources for crafting. After eight hours, an NPC stole all my money. Literally everything. 90k gold is gone. There were no warnings or hints. You can't reload because there are no manual saves, and the game saves automatically. It's absolutely the worst game design. Don't waste your time on this game, as it does not respect your time.

Don't be fooled by the claims of blend between Bauldur's Gate and Darksouls. This is purely darksouls. If you hate darksouls like i do, avoid at all cost

5 hours in so maybe it will change but the game is really fun so far, definitely worth a buy, ima be honest the current CONS are nitpicks because nothing major stuck out to me PROS -art is lovely -a lot of locations, so far im yet to see any repeats of general theme -a lot of skills/abilities to pick from -a bunch of ways to get better gear (playing greatsword and for relatively my level there are like 2-3 different quests that reward me with a better greatsword), in the gamemode with multiple champions (AI controlled) you can also attack other champions for their unique gear, got a greatsword from that too, you can also craft or buy new gear tho havent used that option much beyond buying a zweihander once -combat is really fun but parry timings on some enemies are incomprehensible to me, realistically its a skill issue, will see how it goes further in -the game mode with multiple champions including the player and NPCs is a briliant idea, dont know how the game feels without it but i...

i still remember how i kite back then in diablo2 and nwn. When im about to lose, i just ran outside of map and heal myself. While the boss or mobs is still the same health when i whacked it. It is the most fun and sweetest memory i had when i was a kid. I guess its no more. Prolly catering to souls gen now. I also found that you can't equip potion when in battle area. And so far no fast travel. Do it challenging if you must but if you forgot about the adults that reminisce this small figure character as something fun with day job at hand, you would at least give it a breather. Vendor too, is separated, making me run around just to get rid of stuff. The cheat table or modder have been doing value change but even that it wont stick. And once update, it is no longer usable. Sometimes i get the feeling intellectual people do their thing differently than just testing reflexes. And people should choose their game wisely. If you dislike souls game, then this is not for you. Dont be fooled by ...

Bon ptit jeux indi.

This game is truly incredible. An achievement for sure as theres nothing quite like it and its executed well. Different and unconventional in all the best ways, it is a truly massive and immersive game. I had it on GOG and bought it here because its that good. Also one of the better games ive played on steam deck and I have hundreds of games on steam deck.
