Cat Quest II

Finished this game with my partner and she loves it. It's a funny and punny game with a cute art style and fun story. It's quite simple on the surface but different item unlocks can let you craft very unique builds. My personal favourite is 1% health, 99% armour, with spells and weapons dealing 1000s of AOE and afterburn damage per second in close range. I'd say CQ2 can be fun for gamers of all ages. Try the demo first if you're unsure of buying but I'd say it's money worth.

Finally completed the game so I can say that Cat Quest 2 has better QoL as compared to its predecessor. The map is comparatively bigger and the quests are also more interesting with better rewards. But I can't say that all of it is better. The kingsmarker to me is a bit confusing, so i barely use it, and as a result makes traversing the open world a bit more longer. ( I wish they bring back flight from the first game) The 2nd game has lots of references (my Favourite being [spoiler] Batman and Twoface [/spoiler] ) As a TLDR: The story is much more cohesive, gameplay is more or less the same with more approaches and methods to play plus switching characters is a very good feature in this game. Would Definitely recommend

this game is a typical RPG, and that's a good thing! it does what it intends to be really well. definitely give it a shot!

Built upon the first game quite nicely, continuing the fun combat but added in some new mechanics with co-op. It's not the greatest game ever, but it's a good time!

i can buy this game to have fun, but i can't buy friends to have fun with.
