Dear Home is a game where you play as a tiny robot with the special mission to explore an unknown planet.

This game offers you:

Exploration: Travel with your robot through many of the scenarios: grass, mountains and snow;
Mining: Shape the area around you by mining and collecting resources;
Crafting: Use the resources you collected for your improvements and to build new stuff;
Puzzles: Many puzzles to solve while you explore the land;
Story: A simple story written by some optimistic developers ;)

What story?

Somewhere in the universe, at some unknown time, a small spaceship lands on a large planet.
Inside, some robots are ready to explore this unknown world and fulfill a long-received mission: to seek intelligent life or to help one of the local species to evolve into a peaceful civilization.
Which species would be best suited to receive alien help?
And what will be the result of this interaction?

First impression: medium-sized exploration puzzle game. This is a first impression because I got killed by a T-Rex on my first playthrough, which has never happened to me in a Sokoban-style game before. This game is special! The premise is that you have a tech tree that allows you to mine resources and build stuff, and for some research you need unique materials that you can get by solving box-pushing puzzles that are scattered around the environment. This is all good fun except for wo things: 1) The inventory is quite limited, and you can't discard unique resources. If you pick up puzzle rewards you don't yet need, you may find yourself unable to complete the research you need to progress (e.g. to unölock a bigger inventory). 2) The level is quite big and confusing, and you don't get a map until you've found and solved all the map pieces puzzles, which isn difficult because you have no map.
