Good game, however the 1.0 "out of early access" is just false. Game is missing stuff and the dev went radio silent. I will change my review after the game gets actually finished.

no updates. missing features at "1.0" $200 merch for an unfinished game. great game however do not support this dev.

It was left incomplete. The art is great but honestly this game wasn't fun for me.

its a good game, i understand where the hate comes from about overpriced merch and the last big update was about 2 years ago but in my opinion its unwarranted especially from a dev that made this by them self in mspaint. They brought the game to switch and made the game open sourced for modding which means endless amounts of content. 20$ really isnt a lot compared to the amount of A tier content this love letter to junji ito of a game gives. 8-9/10 theres no game like this highly recommend.

This is indeed a great horror rogue-lite type game. I can definitely recommend it if you know what you are getting in to. The reason I give it a negative review is because the game is simply not being updated anymore. Which would be fine if the game was actually finished. However, there are a lot of stuff and features missing, that makes the game feel like it could be so much more. Again, this would've been fine for an Early Access game, but the game is out of EA and has been for 2 years. There is no communication from the developer or publisher at all. The problem isn't that there isn't enough content, but that there is straight up missing content. You will come across many story/event options that don't do anything, because the developer hasn't programmed it in yet. Still, it's a fun game with awesome music and visuals, with a niche modding scene. Get it on a sale. Also, there is no Steam Cloud save support? That's wack

I absolutely adore this game. Great repeatability, wonderful graphics, and writing reminiscent of a short and sweet choose-your-story junji ito adventure- which this absolutely is. Has workshop support too to expand your game! The only con is that this game may feel repetitive if you don't like seeing the same card again and again, but well....this game is styled like a board game. If you don't like boardgames, you really shouldn't be looking at this to begin with. ...I don't really get why people are giving tons of bad reviews claiming this game needs an update- it's an indie game. That's like looking at binding of issac or cave story and being like, "Why isn't this a live service game? Why isn't this guy working for me to give me free updates with their unlimited (spoiler; not unlimited) income?" It isn't early access. They didn't promise much more than what was already given either. They said they'd like to add stuff, but not that they will, or that they must. They're also just...

esoteric concept with deep potential that's become abandonware

I think this game is spectacular doing something unique but the devs have neglected this game and the only communication we get is to vote for them at steam awards, empty promises and merch for expensive watches instead of... anything to expect for the game
