Pro Strategy Football 2019

This is a close call for me. I don't like that you can't simply rename your team or players in game. I guess it can be done with file editing, etc, but it seems to be more work than I want to do. The same goes for adjusting the stats for players. I don't really agree with a lot of scores the programmer gave to teams, and I should be able to edit these things in game IMO. I don't like that this game thinks that teams switch between a 3-4 and a 4-3 based on down and distance. Most teams play a base defense of either a 3-4 or a 4-3 and then play most of the game in nickel. Teams require different kinds of players to run a 3-4 vs a 4-3, so this just doesn't make sense. I know there are teams that play hybrid schemes, but they don't switch to improve their defense vs the run the way this game implies, but more to disguise what they are doing. Really bare bones. The UI is bare - even moving players between roster spots could be handled a lot more smoothly. The management is bare, with very simplistic ratings for each player and all rookies are rated the same. The on-field play is also bare. The animation moves too quickly and feels choppy, with everyone just quickly running to where they're supposed to be at the conclusion of the play. The players seem too big relative to the size of the field. Everyone is wearing the number '80'. You don't really get a sense, just looking at the animation, that player x is better than player y. The whole thing just feels like a mobile game. It's not worth anything like the price. Wait for this to drop to around $6. And even then, I wouldn't buy it. Given that the on-field play is really not on point yet, there's no reason to get this instead of Front office Footall instead.

This has quickly become one of my favorite pc sports games. I'm what you would call a fictional leaguer. Just love creating fictional leagues, teams, and even from time-to-time players. PSF provides the customization to do all this and more. Plus the developer is looking into adding even more custom options in the future. If you enjoy customizing and tinkering with real or fictional leagues then I'd suggest you give this game a try. Especially if you're comfortable with editing or learning to customize graphics outside the game. And if not, there are several complete third party sets that are available, as well. What sets PSF 2019 apart from it's predecessor is the level of customization. In this version you can customize teams, players, fields, matchup helmets, midfield logos, stadium walls, championship field and even sounds. I absolutely love this game. This is a superb American Football simulation. The user interface is excellent and the attention to detail to plays you can call is amazing. You can send players in motion, blitz individual players, really anything you want. The whole game is so realistic. You can coach your team through as many seasons as you want with a great draft system to improve your squad and build a dynasty. You can even just watch simulated games if you want to. Another great feature is you can have unlimited leagues, edit teams and player names and attributes. Highly recommended.

The description says Windows 10 and above. This game runs on Windows 7 with no proplems.

This game has the potential to be the best graphical football simulator on the market. There has been a void in the PC football gaming community since the Front Page Sports Football Pro series met its demise in 1999. There are some great spreadsheet football game simulator on the market (Front Office Football and DDS) but none offer the graphical simulator that tons of fans would like. With a motivated developer and a great engine, this game has the potential to meet all sim football gamers needs. Easily modded and very intuitive. I can't wait to see the future of this game moving forward,

Here are some of the issues that I've had: 1. Players being tackled when the closet opposing team member was about 3 inches on the screen, which is about 5 yards in the game, away. 2. Field goal success rate not always reliable. I know that when it says there is a 97% chance of making it the field goal might not make it, however when only about 60% of my field goals went in, not counting extra points, and the majority of the attempts said there was over a 80% chance of making it there is a problem. 3. Why is it that the receiver my qb was throwing to gets hit before the ball even gets there? 4. Receivers will be wide open and qb won't see them or the pass is incomplete, however there will be completed passes in heavy traffic. QB was 8/8/6 and some of the wide open misses were about 15 yards away and the qb not seeing open receivers were anywhere from 5-25 yards away.

There is a lot to love about this game. I like to create fictional leagues and watch all of the games play out, even for teams I do not control, which is a hard feature to find and which I understand the creator has added along the way -- so I thank him for that feature, and that alone justifies the purchase for me. If you are willing to edit .csv files, you can customize things to a great degree, within limitations (you must have a 32-team league, as an example of the limitations). Playing games out as a coach is fun. The graphics are very old school, to be sure -- but since they are merely a visual representation of what happened shown after the result is determined, and you are not actually controlling any player movement, graphics less important. I've read that this game was developed by someone who was deeply involved with an old Tom Landry game, and that age shows in that the Xs and Os really do feel like they are from another era -- for example, one can only blitz if in...
