Revisiting AC 3 after its initial release on PS3, i am awaiting an experience similar of the one i had back then. And for the most part it was. The story is alright ( except the Desmond story, which in my opinion is wasted ), the protagonist is alright, the music is very beautiful, all the new features, for the time it was released, are making it easier to be involved more with everything the world of the game has to provide. Everything i remembered was there, everything worked as they used to, but the game is not smooth anymore. Glitches everywhere, bugs that you get to see in massive RPGs are frequent and the voice over during the dialogues is most of the times out of sync. Quite ironic, since the game suggests to try full synchronization of the sequences. Is it worth it in 2025? Yes, but only if you havent played it before and because this version includes AC Liberation too, which it may have a weaker story and it is much more simple in every aspect, but it gains more on being ...
The point of a remaster is to look better than the original. Assassin Creed 3 Remastered fails horribly at that, especially in the characters models: They look like plastic, stripped away of any emotions. I don't recommend playing this release, play the original if you can.

Fantastic game. remaster is done pretty well, it looked absolutely amazing compared to what i remember playing back on my PS3. it took me about 24 hours of play time to beat (give or take, super guilty of pausing and walking away or leaving the game in the menu) and id say i pretty much focused on the main story, but certainly not in a trying to beat the game as fast as possible, but more in a you actually have to go exploring for your side quests i think? In my play time i had only 1 crash, which is fairly amazing to me as my PC seems to have games crash more often than any of my friends games. i experienced one fairly major graphical bug. it only happened when i was in cities at night, but sometimes (not a consistent bug) youd see the streets and walls become pitch black, but things like the lines between the bricks were normal. i probably saw this happen 5-10 times. it never lasted long or effected my game in any way, but it was clearly something not quite acting right. playin...
Jagerbomb achievement bugged out for me making the 100% impossibe, Fuck you Ubisoft.
Still a solid game, the combat was fun,but no with parkour
First of all, I want to say that Assassin’s Creed III is a good game, even with its flaws. Pros: [olist]
A large, living environment of forests and cities — even if a lot of it is scripted.
Combat animations look really cool.
Some side missions are genuinely interesting, though with so many of them, you’ll need a bit of luck to stumble upon the good ones.
Great atmosphere of the era. [/olist] Cons: [olist]
The Story: For most of the game, I thought Connor was just a stubborn character. Only near the end — and honestly, after watching some deleted dialogues — did I realize he’s actually a well-written character with a tough fate. But why did it feel that way?

The first reason is Ezio and his massive legacy. We had three whole games to follow Ezio’s story, but AC3 tried to squeeze Connor’s into just one ambitious entry. It feels like the developers simply didn’t have enough time to flesh him out. In my opinion, Connor d...
