Great game. A sports sim that plays quickly. I play out every game and call every play which takes about 15 minutes per game. I can finish out a year like this in maybe 3-4 hours. That includes the draft, training camp, and taking time to consider free agents and trades. You have 12 players, 8 on the field each play. No injuries and no substitutions. A game is 50 plays so there is no clock. So it's not really an NFL simulation. But within it's fantasy world the game seems to hold up. Players perform as you might expect from their ratings. These rating rise over the years and then drop as the players age out and are replaced by younger players. Histoical Stats and records are kept easily at hand. The years go by. You draft players and then just play them and follow the seasons. Its just so much less stressfull and time consuming then the more serious sports simulations.

This is an addictive football game that takes around 10-15 minutes per game. You call the plays and watch the action unfold. Your opponents are capable; all leading to very high replayability and lots of fun. The developer is active in the community and passionate about the game. VERY EXCITED TO SEE WHERE THIS GAME GOES. My favorite football game on steam so far.
This game is simply broken and unplayable in its 1.03 state. Textures don't load properly, starting a new game leads to a hang where the ball is on the field but no players are, and no plays can be called, just an absolute mess with graphics that wouldn't pass muster in a free-to-play mobile game, never mind on PC. I refunded this one, something I'll only do if a game is such a mess as to be a total loss.
Really like this game, it ticks a lot of boxes for a casual NFL management sim. As mentioned in a previous review, the interface can be a little confusing to be begin with, but watching the tutorial video soon has you on your way. At first I was frustrated by the tendency of the opposition kick returners scoring a TD on virtually every kick-off, but after a while realised this was down to me not focusing on the types of players I had on my special team unit. As with all Early Release games there are are few glitches here and there, however the developer is very quick to investigate and resolve. The developer is also very open to suggestions/ideas on taking the game forward. Big thumbs up.
I'm really torn about not recommending this game because I do like it, and it seems like it's just a one-man operation in early access, but there are quite a few issues. It is a nice casual management sim that does have some good features. Unfortunately, this game in its current state is WAY to janky to recommend. Also there is no team customization available. It's a decent start but leaves A LOT to be desired.
I consider myself on games and such as pretty knowledgeable about any games that I have played and bought. I am a 76 yr old man and basically I would consider myself somewhat of an expert on what is a good game and what is a bad game that I just purchased desktop. I have over 100 games on Steam and just bought 2 yesterday for the first time in years. I just purchased Desktop Dynasties today and have not even played it yet. But, you cannot beat the price and just the premise of the game. As you can imagine, I have probably another 80 or so other games I have purchased over the years. They are mostly Baseball, Football,Soccer, Basketball, Golf, and other odds and ends. The worst part of all this is the eyes are starting to go and it is getting harder to see, but I hope to live to at least 80. The only advice I can give to any of you that read this is to do what you want and don`t listen to some of your so called friends that kid you about playing games ! I have done it for years and had...
im sure theres more than 13 mins that i gave this game on my first try but i couldnt stand it no longer. I have been conned the price of a jar of cheap olives. its too easy to think there is any form of deal these days after steams golden era
This game is a great management game for american football. It is simple and easy to learn without being boring. If you love tracking stats and goofing off with a fun team this game is for you.
Edit: 12/17/19 ... aaaaaand there's apparently been no sign of the dev for 2 months and he's dropped the price to $0.99. Congratulations, dev. It's been a couple of years since I've been fooled by the ol' EA game switcheroo but you got me here. I even gave this game a positive review when I first played it! The rest of the review still applies if anyone wants to read it, except now you can pretty much declare the game abandoned. The short answer here is - don't touch it even for .99. ********************************************************************************************************* I gave this a positive review last November, but I've got to change that to negative after replaying it today. I now regret buying this game and I hope I didn't convince anyone else to buy it with my positive review before. Last November I felt that this wasn't really a playable game in its current state, but that it was this || close to being really good. I believed it just needed some balancing...
fun little way to waste time if you don't know what to play. worth $1 for sure, but it's not a perfect game by any means
