Fun game, worth the 9 or 10 dollars IMO. Simple in concept with classic side-scrolling run and gun action. Simple in concept, but not so simple to master. Combat is a test of recognizing enemies on the fly and quickly reacting to the way they attack (jump over X enemy to avoid their grab, run under Y enemy's jump attack, then avoid Z enemy's projectile, then sneak in some damage of your own). To that end, there is a good variety of enemies. As you go, you'll collect upgrades, of which you can have 3 activated at once. This allows for variety of builds and play styles between playthroughs. Once you've collected some good upgrades and good consumables, then you challenge the final boss (you can fight the final boss right at the start, but you'll get stomped).

You ever wanted to feel like a badass with a laser sword and swipe at hallucinations, while being trapped ALONE on a desolate planet with your only chance at getting back home is a dinky little ship, guarded by a massive molten rock amalgamation? Yeah, this game AIN'T IT, or is it? FIND OUT NOW AND PURCHASE [<---[i]italics, valve pls[/i]] instead of throwing your twitch prime sub away to Ninja's deceased and overpopulated channel. Look, I'm going to feed you some truths, so hang tight, alright? PROS: 1. Soundtrack is [strike]stupidly[/strike] awesome, randomly generated content with a record label being pumped out every few minutes Next. Quips from the robot fella are hilarious. Just plain golden what this creator has come up with. Has helped me through a deteriorating relationship with my left hand Third: Graphics are nostalgic, with gnarly spritework. Sound design is effective, but there are some st-st-stuttering issues if there's too much going on...

I enjoyed this game's arcade-style focus. While there is not a lot of variety, there is a lot of beauty in the art and design. Gameplay is easy to get used to - yet I encountered some framerate issues in fullscreen - and I had a great time! I tried the game with all three suits and found each one unique and fun, though I believe the saber is most powerful. The "juice crafting" mechanic is a fantastic new dish to bring to the table! I loved trying to mix the right amount of juice for the best-crafted smoothies in the galaxy. For its price tag, this game is an good and honest effort. Some bugs need to be cleaned up (nothing game-breaking), but I generally enjoyed the experience, and there's nothing like the feeling of getting your money's worth in the arcade machine after you put in the winning quarter. That's how I felt. This is a good game.
