About This Game

Neverliria is a survival sandbox game, where you play for the fire-headed girl, lost in a fantasy forest full of shadows and dangers.
The most reliable way of protecting yourself from the darkness is light (of the campfire or your own hand-held phoenix) or ... a perfect arrow of the faithful servant-dwarf.

In Neverliria you will have a unique survival game experience, where resources are more than typical wood or stone, but also fantastic creatures and magic items.

* 20 types of buildings available for construction and improvement.
* Lots of resources and unique items that give new opportunities for development.
* Procedurally generated world filled with many fantastic places and creatures.
* Create sources of light and get the support of the allies to protect yourself from the forces of darkness!
* Beautiful pixel stylistics.

Incredible atmosphere. Nice Graphics and Sounds. Had some critical issues. Fixed by DEV after review.

Feels similar to Kingdom: New Lands but is not as good. Go play Kindgom instead. Glitches still exist, for example when you cancel a building while holding a chest that chest bugs out and can no longer be handled. Bought on special for $4.49, probably won't go back to it after 3 hours gameplay.

TLDR : Cheap and incomplete ripoff of "Kingdom". Worth its price, but don't expect a lot of challenge or fun. Concept is nice although it's just ripping off the "Kingdom" games. Game's description is mostly a lie : - There are not 20 types of buildings (unless you consider fires, chests and trees as buildings) - The only "improvements" you can make on some buildings is to add a dwarf/gnome/leprechaun (they come from the dwarf castle, live in leprechaun's home and are referred as "gnomes" or "leave". Take your pick) - There is ZERO unique items - World is NOT proceduraly generated. I started the game 4 times, all the buildings and NPC were at the very same place. The only thing that is indeed moving are the 3 trees with Phoenix eggs, everything else is static - You barely get support from your allies to fight the monsters. Finishing the human castle ends the game, and the gnomes don't fight. There is only ONE gnome that could help you if you build the blood tree, but only if you plac...

I hate to leave a bad review but this game is horrible. Not fun at all. I am fine with the graphics and love the type of game it is but it really needs some work...LOTS OF WORK! Having to carry around a chest with my items is probably not the worst thing but getting items out of the chest is ridiculously stupid. The building part of the game is even worse. I have to move each item from my chest to the item being built? Who on earth thought people would enjoy that? It could have some small potential very far into the future but I will not be finding out.

Neverliria is the kind of game I would have expected to play back when games were a completely new concept. I am not going to bore you with positive specifics. The game is exactly as it is described. The problem is the game mechanics are so horrible it is what makes this game feel archaic and outdated. Survival is dependant on carrying each item one-by-one to whatever location you deem suitable. There are no bag systems. There is a chest you can carry with some items in it, but if you decide explore for a decent location and enemies appear, you must drop the chest, open the chest, and quickly craft a fire pit to save your life. I have no idea why you can't skip all those steps and just craft the bloody things. This is the kind of game mechanics you can expect to play and is the main flaw holding Neverliria back.

ok, so this Game is a bit annoying, But it is also very fun :)it is all in the way you plan out your survival . Like always make sure you have a fire at night and grow food right away . By building everything in order to unlock other things you can go far :) have fun and good luck

I find the mechanic where things break down very quickly to not be helpful for the overall experience

So i did love this game LAST YEAR when i finished it and it had just the one glitched achievement ....but after recent update its a broken piece of trash. No wonder the price dropped down to $1.69 cnd. To the dev team, would you kindly fix this game? let me give you a small list of glitches to get you started.. - finding a golden egg does not trigger the new "find golden egg" achievement! -you build a chest but its permanently transparent with a little sign on top that reads 1/2 wood - your chest or phoenix will drop down below the dirt and disappear randomly by just picking it up or dropping it - the daylight timer will sticks at the sun symbol for long periods of time making it daylight for 15mins there are more but i rather not waste anymore of my time with this review or beta testing the game itself... PLEASE get your sh*t together dev team, this is a bloody mess boys!

I'm editing my review because the game has been update & fixed. Neverliria is a lovely little game, it has the same vibe from Kingdom but it is more casual. If you like base building and defending this is good game. It's harder at first because you must learn by yourself, surviving. But once you get the idea, your base starts to prosper. The game is relatively short but I think it has a nice value per time. In fact I would like to see more content and/or games by the developer, I would totally play it!

Great game. The art style is endearing and the mysterious mechanics are largely intuitive. Good length and difficulty.
