Indian Summer

Nice adaptation of the actual boardgame. looks great, plays fast... The AI is a small problem, being to dumb (the strongest one is ok) to have any sound strategy If you like patchwork or cottage garden, this is surely something you would appreciate (though it is more of a thinking game than the two games mentioned before).

My favorite board game brought to life brilliantly. Very calming and chill, even though there's a competitive element. Gorgeous art. Simple concept, but hard to master the intricacies. I've worked my way up to doing well against the hard bots, but I don't win every game (partly it's the luck element combined with skill). Easy to connect and play with other people if you want to. Hotseat works because nothing is secret. Some people don't like that it's the same interface as the mobile app, but I have no problems with it, though it's mouse heavy. It's the perfect game for putting in a smaller window and watching media with (especially listening-heavy things like actual plays).

Online multiplayer doesn't work and the Steam Achievements haven't worked since the game was released in 2018. A clear example of yet [i]another[/i] 'release and run' adaptation of a board game by this publisher. Steer clear of all of their titles.

The object is simple; be the first player to completely fill in your board. Along the way, you'll gain different "treasures" that'll either give you more options of tiles to place down, or let you place down more than one tile, or fill in a 1 by 1 square. Simple right? I'd enjoy it more if I wasn't bad at it. Lol

The tutorials were a bit confusing, meaning it took playing through and watching closely to work out exactly what all the items did and how to collect them BUT this is a lovely game. Enough strategy and planning if you want it, to keep coming back and trying again. Or, just a lovely, relaxing play and however the points fall so be it.

Unlike many other Digidiced mobile ports, Indian Summer actually has a clickable Quit button, so yes, I'll recommend it.

A completely faithful recreation of the board game, now with chill guitar, and atmospheric, cute animal animations. I loved Cottage Garden, I love this, and if they ever make a Spring Meadow digital version, I'm sure I'll love that too.
