I've been with DASH as a rabid fan since the start all the way thru alpha to this glorious release, and to summarize, it was from the beginning a great idea, executed with real style and skill by the dev, who was super attentive to the community and keeps being super responsive and friendly! There is alot of positive things to be said, but I will try and keep it short: * The mechanics of the game are fast, super accurate, and varied, with multiple heroes to choose from, it never gets old. The skill ceiling is super high, while the ability to instantly respawn makes it so you can really practice and get those IMPOSSIBLE world records with time and dedication! I am old and not normally super good at games, but DASH just has that combination of simple but deep control that makes me want to spend 2 hours and thousands of attempts at some level to finally get that record in the end and feel like the best ever \o/ * The levels are all community made, but since the editor is so well made, w...

Really like the old-school feel of the game, it looks good and the controls are well polished. Game levels are frustrating and fun at the same time as they can be extremely difficult. This is very much by the design, reminds me of Super Meat Boy in the regard. The shared high score system is a good twist and serve as a reminder of just how good some people are at video games. I haven't gotten very much into the level editor but it seems like a good way of ensuring that new content is added continuously.
Good game.
y to get into and finding a level to match your skill and pace isn't hard at all. I enjoy a challenge and there's some really good levels made by the community that satisfy that, so this was definitely worth my time. But if you're not really into speed runs and jumping around in platformers, you may still enjoy the ability to make your own for other people to try and beat, which was the main draw for me in the first place. Definitely give this a shot if you can. It doesn't take much space and despite it saying it takes 8 GB RAM (I'm running it on 4 GB real smoothly) it won't take anything to run. I usually have it on in the background when I'm working and just play whenever I reach a break point. (One of the things I'm grateful for) This definitely has a lot of work that can be done, and has a lot of room for new stuff, and I believe the developers are doing a great job at listening to suggestions and trying their best to improve the game.
DASH is a truly captivating game. It seems tomorrow no longer matters when playing DASH - I just have to beat this level or that high score, no matter how long it takes. With the possibility to easily make and share levels and a fast growing community, there is no end to how much fun you can have. Right now there are 5 heroes to choose from and each have their unique style, attitude and attributes. Everyday a new hero becomes my favorite, due to their vertical or horisontal speed, the lenght of their dash or jump or simply because they look cool. I like the fast pace and the range of difficulty in the community made levels. There are many options for quickly navigating through the levels. Some are almost too easy and some seem too hard, while at the same time you have everything in between. You can play the same, previous or next level in an instant, or you can at easy dig deep into the archives of levels to find just the one that suits you. When making myown levels I get the sensat...
As one of the developers of the game I fully endorse this product :) In all seriousness I really think DASH is a fun game with its own flavor and potential for endless hours of competitive entertainment or creative design challenge. We plan to continuously provide bug fixes, game refinement and new ways of competing in the early access period leading up towards our full release properly sometimes early 2020.
Finally DASH is going into early access. I simply love this game and spent many hours creating levels. Working on the timing and the design. The level builder is simple to use and the mechanics are precise and fast. Perfect for speedrunning. The community already made hundreds of fun levels and the 5 heroes with different stats gives a good variety in the game.
DASH: Danger Action Speed Heroes is, in my opinion, the best game when it comes to User Created Content.
What is DASH?
DASH is probably best explained as Super Mario Maker combined with Super Meat Boy. There is no campaign, or pre-made levels, but instead there are tons of user-made levels. The game is basically made by you and me! It's a game made for those who like level creating, but also for fans of the Platformer genre, or speedrunners.
What does DASH offer?

User Created content. All levels you play are made by other people.
Unique Heroes. There are a multiple playable characters in the game, each with their own strengths. For example, the Raider is very fast, but can't jump very high, where Duffie is slower, but has a higher jump!
Frequent updates featuring new content! The developers are really active in the official Discord, and listen to all feedback given there. You can submit your own ideas for new things as well! just got it 5 days ago and have been Dashing ever since. wanna get a controler since my hands are cramping up on the keyboard. for now i have only been playing the pre made cources but i am looking forward to building my own :-) (will review later) I love the music and different atmospheres in load screens and in the game, makes it so much more immersive, have been trying to see who the composer is? dash team? i love the charachters! man they are so classic - i can se a real love for building the specialized charachters, i feel like they have backstorys written in the pixels. amazing work! thank you
