About the Game

30 years on, the battle for our world's future continues.

Super Robot Wars is a tactical RPG that brings characters and robots from a variety of mecha anime together to battle their mutual foes.

Players follow characters through adventure and battle. Take control of giant robots on a battle map, commanding them to defeat their enemies.

The battle switches between ally and enemy phases. Once the player has moved and attacked with their robots, the enemy takes their turn. When all enemies have been defeated, the game proceeds to an Intermission.

During Intermission, the player can use resources earned in battle to train pilots, upgrade robots, and earn bonuses for their army. They then can proceed to the next chapter of the adventure.

In Super Robot Wars, players can enjoy a unique experience that combines all-star mecha series crossovers, action-packed attack animations, and the chance to upgrade your favorite machines and pilots.

I love this game, it has so many robots of old, and seeing them all together is just a pleasure to the eyes (and the ears, since the soundtrack is FABULOUS). However, I think developers do not really respect players' time, as you have no idea of the amount of dialogues this game has, so far my worst enemy. I'm skipping it all and I don't regret it. No wonder this game normally takes 100 + hours to be finished, read all those contents and you'll know what your next 80 hours will be all about. At times I realised the dialogues were so long, you would have wasted half of your gaming night only with that, and then a 20 minutes mission. That's just too much. This game is 60% dialogues, 10% customization and 30% action.

As people who like mech, robot and more. You will love this game. Although this game is quite easy because there are so many helpful mechanics.

Why is this game so good?, but the interface and controls are like I'm trying to put an image into a word document? Lets keep it straight, the story doesn’t make a lick of sense, it’s a homunculus sewn together with 13 legs, it’s an apple a grape and banana merged together. HOWEVER, that being said, haha funny robot make other robot go boom! (mouth fart noises) courage and friendship will repel the war crime accusations. The gameplay is ancient in its design, and terribly unoptimized, but it does its job well enough to function. This game isn't good, I shouldn’t like this, I should recoil from absurdity, but I refuse, we stay silly in this house. 7/10 if you are here for pleasure, 3/10 if you are here on business, if you catch my drift at all.

As addicting as I hoped as someone getting into mecha for the first time. Even if you're not familiar with 90% of the shows represented here like I was, the game does a decent job at onboarding newcomers and there's an obvious amount of love that went into the animations that can still be appreciated. I treated it like any other strategy game with a vast cast of characters and it works, whether I understood half the references or not. The story is an objectively bloated mess and even playing on Expert results in a fairly exploitable and easy combat system, but I greatly enjoyed my time with this game and I look forward to more of them getting localized. Kamille Bidan is my precious son and I wouldn't know what I would do if he had to go through all of this again.

I love the combination of visual novel with tactical combat and there is more than enough difficulty settings to satisfy even the most die-hard tactics fan if they're looking for a challenge.

A wonderful love letter to super-robot fans. It's cool to see your favorite characters across anime series interacting with each other and to see how the writers weave the histories/lore of each series together. Anime attack cutscenes and visual novel presentation. The game's difficulty is as hard as you make it.

Imagine Fire Emblem but its 1000% better because it has giant robots instead of horses, And both Gridman and Ultraman are here too so its peak cause tsupro is peak
