Among Trees

- After 19 hours of play time and getting all the achievements...I would not play this game again. - First of all, the game is not finished. This means that many things are missing from the game. It feels like a wasted effort of creating a survival game. If you are looking for a challenging survival genre...this game is not for you. You can effortlesly "survive" in this game even if you are a newby gamer. This game is meant to be played as a chill game, where you freely walk around the forest and enjoy the scenery. - The game gets boring and repetitive after a few hours. Literally you can do everything in a few days (craft every possible item and furniture, u can max out fully your home cabin, explore all the areas, and collect all the flora and ingredients) and after that you have nothing else to do because u literally did everything...I got everything done on day 15...and I had to wait 35 days just to get the 50 days achievement... - I invested 19 hours in this game on...

6/10 A memorable experience. 'Among Trees' is an astoundingly beautiful game. It is a unique take on the survival experience, replacing high tension with low stress. It is rare to see a game that so perfectly captures the awe of the forest. The sunlight in the trees, the sounds, the shadows over grass. It is a short experience, having only about 50 in game days worth of content. There's a lot more that could have been done with it, but it's not necessary. I think it achieved what it set out to do. With that being said, the switch to low stress makes the game very slow. I think that works in its favor, helping add to the peaceful tranquility, but it could be seen as boring to some. Note: My copy at the time of playing, I believe, had broken spawning for the death cap. My rating is critical. This might be a game worth picking up.

Nice game but unfinished. It lacks of content. After 16 hours I've maxed the cabin and explored a great deal of the map. It is visually pleasing though and the background noises and music is relaxing.

Incomplete and abandoned by the developer. You get a few hours of interesting game play learning the map, resource locations, and avenues to improve your cabin and survival but then get left with nothing to do and nowhere to go. You find yourself repeating the same resource loops and stockpiling items all while watching your fox companion starve.
