I've changed my review to positive more for informational purposes regarding the bonus game. There has been an update and I can now see other bonus content so I am assuming the bonus game is working now. I played this game on an other computer so I would have to play this game again to even see if the bonus game was there let alone to play it. I really disagree with the practice of needing a bonus game to finish the story which is why I never recommended an ERS game on big fish. But as there is only the CE version being sold on steam it's not as big a deal here. This was one of the best series of games at the time of release years ago, it does feel dated but still a good game and hopefully now I can finish this game and play the others back to back I will finally understand the whole story! :) [strike]There are 2 other reviews saying the same thing and it's still not fixed- there is no bonus/extra content at all and this includes the bonus game. There is a strategy guide and in i...
ahhhh Haunted halls number 3 the Revenge of dr.blackmore, this game continues the story of the first 2 games, and very well at that, its the same old point and click game, with the good haunted halls feel, this series gave me so much joy playing again, and i highly reccomend the first two games in the series as well 1. Haunted halls: Green hills sanitarium and 2. Haunted halls: fears from childhood, now as much as i can recommend this game there is one tiny little thing i have to say, not sure if it is a bug or if it will be fixed but once i completed the game the extras menue that holds the bonus content the wallpapers, bonus chapter, etc didnt show up on my menu but again, i still recommend this game as it is a good one! (if it is fixed i will edit my review,or it could just be me with the extra content not appearing)
This game continues after the 2nd installment, unfortunately the ending to this amazing sequel, lacks in the excitement department. I do like how they've kept some of the music form the first game and the voiceacting of dr. Blackmore is actually decent.
Good game otherwise but it's missing all advertised bonus content. I will not recommend it until this gets fixed.
great for moms
First was the best. Rest went downhill.
Enjoying the game. Everything that I look for in a HOG, puzzles, graphics, story.
This game is really well made, must have taken a lot of effort, I love it. It was a ton of fun, since I played both parts before, until one thing has happened, that simply forced me to thumb-down this. Literally, I was about to play the bonus game, I entered the thing. Then instantly the sound messed up and a loud noise started to play, which was absolutely painful due to me having headphones on. So I saved the game, quit it. The sound problem hasn´t been fixed. I restarted my laptop, and boom, save file corrupted. Seriously? It took me 4 hours to get almost to the very end, and then there is pretty much nothing out of it. The game does not have any replay value to do it all again. Gameplay is 7/10 due to cutscenes that take forever, hallucinations are taking time to deal with, because of their moves before my inventory appears. Blackmore talks FOREVER. The lab is very time-consuming, as you have to wait for all the potion/item animations are all finished, you cannot do anything dur...
