Specs: Ryzen R7 1700 Gtx 980ti Classified 20gbs of ddr4 Ram HTC Vive First Impressions: Overall this is a very well made game and will be in my view for a while as it grows and progresses. However, there are some problems that I have found with this game which are not completly the creators fault, but does not help with the problems of VR right now. Level 1: This is probably the first level people will try and the biggest issue is that the art style really shows the screendoor effect that pops up with VR. This causes it to be difficult to see the items that are coming and get a good understanding of the diference between what is coming since you have good and bad items. Also the items I would like to see either a bit bigger or more colorful since they are very hidden in the background until they are right on top of you. Like I said though not completly the creators fault, but should be something to think about. Level 2: Very laggy compared to the other two. A lot of wasted reasourc...

+Interesting Graphics +Cheap -Virtually no content -Boring -Hit boxes for items that you need to grab (Main part of the game) goes right through hands sometimes. 2/5 Even though it's a fun little mini-game and relatively cheap. I can't recommend this at all due to the main mechanic not working 100% and the whole game just feeling like a cheap mini-game that should be bundled with a dozen other games. Remember Arcade games? Back in the day when you'd drop a handful of quarters in a machine and maybe get a good 20 mins out of a game? Welcome to GrabBag. It's worth $2 if you're into a new experience or looking to work on your "grabbing stuff flying at your face" skillz.
GrabBag by Developer Shadow Factory is $1.99 on Steam. Clocking in at a slightly over 2 GB – GrabBag is a fairly simple game in which you ride along a predetermined course grabbing objects with your hands. Some objects are good, some objects are bad. On the mardi gras level for instance, grabbing beads is good but grabbing a shoe is bad. It has 3 difficulties across 3 courses ranging from easy to hard with the difficulty. From best I could tell, affecting the amount of negative objects on your run. My honest opinion? For $2 – it works. All of the menus worked and it was very intuitive. But yes, it is a gimmicky VR game for $2 – my expectations are usually met if the game simply works and it does. The level detail actually is fairly impressive on the second and particularly the 3rd level. The thing that baffled me during my playthrough is that perfection seemed fairly easy to obtain and replayability is quite limited. So do you buy it? It is a decent “check out my VR system” ...
