Man, I really did not enjoy playing this. Extremely limited variety of character models. Mr Fluffykins looks like he crawled out of a seedy red light discrict sewer. The platforming is super awkward. Definitely would not recommend, especially not at the current price point. https://youtu.be/IZrbws2TLoE

I found the opening level to be a little underwhelming but once you get out into the open the game becomes much more enjoyable. The levels are very colorful quite large and honestly look really nice. There's a lack of interaction with other characters but I wasn't that bothered by it. The game appears to be getting updates regularly which is good. Overall the game isn't too difficult but there's a few moments that had me grumbling (pea shooters are crazy accurate!) Sorta felt like a mix up of mario 64 and crash bandicoot to me but I really enjoyed this one so far and cannons shoot exploding chickens...caught me off guard with that one :D

When I first bought this game it had major problems that made me feel it was unfinished and broken. But since then the developer has listened to feedback and worked hard to resolve the issues in the game. I now consider this a very nicely put together 3rd person 3D platform game. It looks really colourful and cute and the music is cheerful. It's not all that hard to win and the puzzles simplistic but finding all the recipes is a challenge if you choose to try to get every single one. I think it a great game to play with my young nephew and niece. Me and the kids play with a Xbox 360 control pad and that works very well in this game. The thing I personally like best in 3D platformers is just a large colourful world and hunting for hidden items, two things this game does very well. I loved my time playing this, having the cute king's kitty running all over the world hunting for the lost recipes was highly enjoyable. If you have children you want to introduce to 3D platformers or you just...

I'll be honest, the game doesn't make a good first impression. I actually quit playing it the first go-round. I'm not sure what made me decide to give it another try, but I'm glad I did. You have two main objectives in this game: collecting recipes and making it to the level exit. Collecting recipes is more of a scavenger hunt than completing objectives; think Super Mario Odyssey rather than Super Mario 64. The recipes are scattered everywhere: tucked away into corners, hiding at the top of cliffs, sitting on top of roofs just out of the range of your double jump, etc. In some 3D platformers from the PSX/N64 era, I liked trying to get places that I wasn't really supposed to be able to. That seems to be the intention behind some of the design of this game, considering the placement of the recipes. Basically if something exists in the world, you can land on it. Incredibly narrow ledge on the face of a cliff? Yep. Fences that end in a point? Sure. Water? Well okay, maybe not EVERYTHING;...
Overall - 55/100
It's a cute concept, but there's nothing very fun about this medieval cat-based platformer.
Playing as a cat - 18/20
You're Mr. Fluffykins, the Royal Cat of a medieval castle. The game loses a few points here, solely because the cat has what appear to be human teeth, and this will haunt my dreams.
Acting like a cat - 15/20
Mostly high marks here - you get to jump on furniture and help kill mice - but there's plenty of un-cat-like behavior, like walking on two legs and throwing bombs.
Adorableness Level - 10/20
Your player character's face (with weird human teeth) & posture are totally creepy, but the rest of the game is fairly cute.
Polish - 10/20
It mostly runs fine. The camerawork while inside the castle made my head spin, though. Dialog is hard to read, and hint text is accompanied by the most horrible noise.
FUN! - 2/20
The beginning of the game seems to be full of "fetch the key" quests...

I bought this game thinking it would be like poi which is a great title, but I guess I got my hopes up this game is bad, the camera jumps all over the place, there are glitches, NPC characters says irrelevant things and the music loops so much I had to turn it off just to play the game. I only played about 15 minutes of the game before I could not take any more. If your getting this title to amuse your child I would say pass of it and get them something better.

I wanted to really love this game, but I just like it. It has a lot of work to be done in order to be a 100 percent enjoyable experience. My biggest pet peeve is the mouse sensitivity, it's far too low. Moving the camera is a pain, slow, and janky. Controls/navigation aren't crystal clear and sometimes doesn't work (this only goes for the menus not working). It seems I have to press tab to use my mouse in order to buy bombs when you're supposed to just use the arrow keys. Another small note is the grammar/spelling isn't spot on. It's small stuff, so it isn't noticable to average people or deters gameplay. It's just easy for me to spot being a writer/proofreader. ("You're" spelled as "your", come on! x'D) But with saying all of that, it doesn't make the game terrible. It is still a game you can just casually play when you need something simple and to scratch an itch of a 3D platformer. It's worth to buy and stick with on a sale as an indie dev improves it. (Funny Note: If you hurt the c...

The Adventures of Mr. Fluffykins is almost a passable 3D platformer collectathon, in many respects. But unfortunately, the save system is royally goofed. It resets your progress, unbinds your controls, and that's probably all it does, but it sounds really bad to me writing this now. So I don't think it's fair to recommend it, even if I keep playing out of my own personal enjoyment.

The Adventures of Mr. Fluffykins is a one of a kind extremely inspiring, insightful, and motivational tribute to the 3D platformers with an explorer attempt of clashing into a goldbiting cat flipping the nocturnal switches off and on!!! The music is really hand-layered good and very surprised with a constrict of simple danceable tunes that are tasty to listen to as u collect those delicious recipes that make your mouth water into bundling shelves of greatness!!! The control needs a little work in repairment adjustments but its very satisfying to a slobber of effects! The jumping is very flat in unused methods and sometimes the enemies can be rugged into shards of annoyances! But thats just one negative complaint really no big deal at all!!! Accept one more negative assumption of the gratitude meter! The saving feature doesnt work half of the time and it can be very frustrating when u dont want to start over again with those pesky ants shooting raging pellets at you!!! The worlds are ni...
