Rating: 8.5/10 Positives: - Reminds me of those mall building games on like the flash website (iykyk) lol - Enjoyable game to pass time idly - Unique in the sense it uses cards and not currency to progress your academy. Negatives - Gameplay can get receptive after awhile - Pricey Notes: I got the game when it was on sale and I would recommend you do the same. To be completely honest I personally dont think its worth the 24.99 price tag. The gameplay can become limited at some point and feel a bit repetitive. But it's definitely a game I would play to unwind after a long day. Not super complicated but still need a little strategizing to progress.

Solid game. The original magic school game. Not that cheap 3D grining game. You can finish a game within an evening if you do not linger. Variety and choices within the school building screen and map screen as well as in the adventures. Funny characters and misshaps in the school. Variety of teachers and students. Choose them carefuly. A much better game than any of those other magic school games in every way.

It's not bad really, but does get repetitive pretty quickly. On my second school and the gameplay is pretty much the same with some new student types mixed in. If you want to sit there and try to min-max stats you're able to do that. At the end of the day though, it's just did hit right for me.
