Mosaics Galore. Challenging journey

If you liked the first two games don't bother with this one, it's just a shameless cashgrab, the aesthetics of the first 2 games is compleatly missing, they've just used stockphotos run through a photoshop filter, then randomly cut them into chunks and just thrown together into random catogary's. What a random photo of two buskers or the photo of a box and scrolls has to do with the 'flower garden' area is beyond me.... I could do the same for free with my holidayphotos a printer and a pair of scissors. :(

Ouch. No trace of the exquisite handcrafted patchworks of "Mosaics Galore", "Alice's Patchwork 1,2" and "Pirate Mosaic Puzzle: Caribbean Treasures". I've played to level 40 and I only encountered very low-resolution collages made of badly-photoshopped photo clippings, most of them quite ugly. A huge disappointement, even for its very small price. Play the other titles instead.

There's a game-breaking bug at lvl 89. But it's also boring, uninspired and dull. Forget about this one and better get one of the other titles of this Mosaics-series.

Mosaics Galore. Challenging journey is a basic mobile-app like jigsaw/mosaic puzzle game. Solve various puzzles by placing stained glass window/mosaic pieces onto an existing picture (picture stolen off the internet and used without crediting the copyright holder). It's been done a million times before, for free, and free on mobile app stores too... yet this one has a hefty price tag on it. Who knew you can just charge $5 for mobile trash? I guess Creobit/8Floor does. An example of the stolen artwork in this asset flip is [url=https://www.shutterstock.com/image-photo/chestnuts-116724769]"Chestnuts"[/url] stolen and used without any apparent permission from the photographer, "Matin", via Shutterstock. Now, the site may permit this copyrighted work to be used in the manner that has been done here, but that's not apparent from the way this has been used. Furthermore, 8floor did not credit the work of the copyright holder who created the image. So at best, this is morally bankrupt...

This is a bit like a Facebook or app game. The goal is to rearrange and complete pictures in the allotted time without trying to put pieces in the wrong place. It is a simple and interesting game. Worth a purchase.

I am recommending this game but only if you buy it for a very low price. I paid .49 USD and that is what it was worth. If you liked the other games in the series because of their use of various materials that made up the beautiful mosaics then you will be disappointed because this is not the same. It isn't even mosaics but just jigsaw puzzles of photographs. They are much easier to put together because they are photographs so the secondary title "Challenging Journey" is a misnomer. The mechanics of the game are the same as the previous titles and, at this time, there are achievements in game but not in Steam. So if you like to put together puzzles and you have run out of games on Steam and the game is on sale then, yeah, I recommend it. Edited to add: you can't get all the achievements b/c the company just copied them from the previous game which had 6 locations but this game only has 5. So you can't get the achievement for the non existent 6th location nor the "all achievement...

So first off, the developer has said in the forms that they no longer support this game. So it's straight up abandoned. With that being said, there are two in game achievements that are impossible get. So you'll never be able to complete this game if that's the sort of thing that bothers you. As for game play - it's fine; there's nothing wrong with it. It's the same as all the other games of it's type. The images aren't as good; they're stock photos and some of them have a weird filter over them. All of that is a non issue compared to the lack of support and uncompletable achievements. Don't buy, even if on sale.

It's relaxing to play through the puzzles. The pieces adhere to your cursor when clicked and there is the option of relaxed mode (no timer). As far as it being a "challenging journey" - I didn't find this any more challenging than any of the other mosaic games in this series. Some of the mosaics just have more (and sometimes smaller) pieces.

I don't know anything about the achievements because I don't play those in my games usually. I wrote a more detailed review earlier but forgot to post it. So I'm sorry this is short. It is perfect. I've played all the other puzzle games here so far and it is the perfect one in every single way. I'm really enjoying it more than them! I don't know why it says Challenging unless it is in the timed mode. In relaxed it is easy. My one complaint is that it is too short! I don't know why the other ones' are not done correctly as this one is. I would love a Part Two! Thank you so much for doing this game Right.
