Really small game. It's not offering even two hours of playtime, if you consider that I was afk for about 15 minutes and I have 119 minutes of playtime. The puzzles aren't difficult, although I didn't find the solution immediately in some of them. Still, it's a very beautiful and funny point and click adventure. I would call it a "nice first try", but I am expecting more hard work from you in your future games. I enjoyed the game, don't worry, but it could have been a lot better, to be honest. Till next time, I'm going to find another game to point and click now.

Tango is a history lesson in an adventure-game wrapper, which in principle is cool but in implementation is a muddle. The creators attempt to teach the origin story of Argentina's famous dance partially through the gameplay's setting and partially through the plot's occasional intersections with dancing, singing, and guitar-playing, but their main teaching tool is simply to display randomly selected history facts on load screens. The history lesson is not as effective as it could be because the game does not connect with the history facts in any appreciable way. This alone wouldn't make Tango a bad game (just a bad teaching tool), but unfortunately there are other failings that keep the game from being fun: – travel is a grind – Getting between two areas (which happens a lot in any adventure game) takes FOUR steps: click to exit the area, load a black screen with a history fact and click a tiny button at the bottom to continue, load the map and click destinat...

There wasn't a whole lot of fanfare with this game's release; I'm a fan of the genre and I have been following point-and-click game development for a while, and it still sort of flew right by. Luckily, thanks to a lovely word-of-mouth campaign, I still picked this one up just after release. Loosely based on the life of musician Carlos Gardel, Tango opens with a prison escape sequence (one of my all-time favorite point-and-click tropes) before transitioning to an extended flashback to explain how you got there. The total playtime is about 2-3 hours, and the tone of the game definitely leans more towards comedy than drama. The game strikes a pretty good difficulty balance. Point-and-click veterans shouldn't find this game to be too terribly challenging, and newcomers to the genre should be able to complete most of the game with a bit of experimentation and perhaps a touch of assistance here and there. Most puzzles are telegraphed well. the solutions may not immediately appar...

At a glance, this game looked something I would enjoy immensely, but after actually playing the game and finishing it, I am deeply disappointed. First of all, it has some very noticeable loading times between the locations when using a map. It’s a beautiful game (with simple 2D graphics) but I don’t see why it loads the same amount of time on my PC as some complex 3D game, like Dark Souls. The game has an extremely little amount of puzzles (or any content) and still, some puzzles are not logical - like offering a guy a random ball in exchange for a rare coin. The guy hasn't expressed any interest in the ball, so this feels super random. Then there is a glass window in front of the bars in the prison cell. I understand it’s a cartoony adventure but this is beyond ridiculous. Now to the real problem. The game is about one hour long to get 100% completion (I have more time on my record just because I stepped away from my PC when the game was running a couple of times) and it co...

Love the story and the aesthetics, undoubtedly it's a unique game and, as a long time adventure gamer, I am completely satisfied with my purchase. And it's on sale! So unusual to see Argentine lunfardo in a game, this has to be the first time I've seen anything like that since the original Truco game from the 80s!

A beautiful and endearing lil' indie. Lasts a bit under two hours but it's heart is in the right place for the price.

Very charming and fun point-and-click adventure game although it's not along at all, perhaps 2 hours. The music and art are really well done and interesting. I loved the Tango trivia in the loading scenes and I thought it added quite a bit of character to the game. The puzzles are fun. They aren't incredibly hard although I did have to think about some of them. Some of them have clever solutions and other are more straight-forward. I believe this is the studio's first game and if so I'm really looking forward to more from them.

It is a classic point-and-click adventure Lucas-Arts-style about Tango! How could not be AWESOME?

As a professional musician and someone who has visited Buenos Aires, I thought this would be an enlightening experience. Sadly, the best part of the game is the animated title sequence cut/scene which plays after completing the prologue. Just should have made an animated feature instead. Some rather annoying timed mini-games, poker hands which make no sense, and overall clunky and confusing design. And then they have to throw in the meta point-and-click references, ugh... If I could rate neutral I would but this did not leave me with a satisfied feeling...
