About This Game

After what must have been a wild party, Security Personnel H receives a rude awakening from an unfamiliar and facetious administrator called LARANK.
The self-professed VOICE of TRUTH informs H in a rather roundabout fashion that dangerous entities the facility was housing have escaped and are wreaking havoc.

<-- Larank shown here hard at work helping guide H

Concerned for his family, his work, and because he can’t find anyone less unhinged to work with, H has to rely on Larank as he moves through the now-hostile base, searching for survivors and hanging onto the hope that his family are safe.

• Retro stylized short n sweet story driven run & gun platformer game

• Destroying enemies and props increase your Score and Level Up, in turn allowing you to enhance abilities such as Beam Strength, Weapon Cooldown, Beam Range, Health, Missiles, Grenades and more

• Larank is in it, and is known for not quite taking these sort of situations all that seriously

• Secret areas to find, cameras to smash (after being told not to), unlockable bios and lore

• More than 10 bosses

• Featuring over 61 tracks by EPIC BLARGMAN

• Over 90 unfortunately in-joke titled Achievements

Such a fun game, tons of secrets and replay value...Everything about this game is charming and thought out and an impressive first release from this dev who I'll be keeping an eye out for their future releases. So much love and effort went into this game and you can tell, a true gem. The only problem I had was in the underwater area the game slowed down immensely and when I reached the second or third underwater checkpoint the spinning Loading/Saving "H" remained in the upper right-hand corner of the screen and the game appeared to slow down even further at that point. However I'm guessing that this isn't a common problem since I haven't seen mention of it yet. But even with this temporary annoyance I still highly recommend the game.

A fun, if a little rough around the edges game. It's definitely tough, dying sends you back a long way, and access to the save point can be few and far between, so be careful! It took me a bit to get into the gameplay, but after getting into the groove I've definitely been enjoying it! The music is nice, I especially liked the theme of the coolant system area, which had a nice groove to it. For the most part, movement is smooth, though aiming is only in eight directions, despite being controlled by the mouse, which I thought was a bit of an odd choice. Still, I didn't have any problems with it once I adjusted, but I do believe that free aim might still be preferable. I love the look of the menus, something about just how complex they look visually is really appealing to me. My biggest complaint is that a lot of sources of damage aren't telegraphed very well visually. The animation that burning floors give off is subtle enough that you might dismiss it as a background detail the first ...

Few games manage to trap me like this! Such a great metroid-like style game, satisfying platforming gameplay that rewards those who tend to take things steady. Leveling up feels quite rewarding, specially after beating those though bosses. Very intriging and mysterious story, yet quite a colorfull and fun dialog and characters. Totally recomend it!

Very addictive. Could definitely lose many hours to this. Fun! Check it out if you like classic mario or metroid or castlevania or the like.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time with the game, I haven't experienced this type of platformer shooter often so it was a bit of a new experience the levels felt very open and explorative, it was fun going around and finding the secrets, and it was especially shooting down those cameras as well! The writing was really good, and I don't just mean the references, I enjoyed seeing how our characters bounced off one another the whole time with their quips and objectives The Platforming did feel a bit off at times, aiming up and down to move the camera feels a bit too stiff, like it wouldn't move up and down enough to assess the area properly to be able to see where one can land safely, also a small critique about the final boss, it can be easy to lose sense of where the cursor is at times to aim and shoot. all that aside, I can say yea, I really did enjoy EnHanced and what it had to offer. I really liked how the story as a whole wrapped up, I am legitimately surprised this game didn't get eno...
