There's a lot to like here. Fast aerial combat, decent variety (drones/weapons) for an early access game, and awesome controls. The leveling system and skill trees all seem reachable too, which is a plus when a lot of games these days feel like you need to put in hours to complete upgrades. Yet, it was extremely fun to play match after match. The core gameplay is super easy to pick up, but working as a team and finding the right fighting style for your drone will take time to master. The only thing that's somewhat of a negative was that I kept on encountering 120+ pings in some of the matches that had more players (I think it was 8v8). Any of the other matches were totally fine in the 30-50 range. I'm no expert on networks, so I can't say anything more than it was a bit of an annoyance. I'm really looking forward to seeing where this game ends up. If it's at all interesting to you, make sure you pick it up! A few things I would like to suggest: + The ability to choose match size/g...

About This Game
Formerly known as Drone Strike Force, Sky Link is a groundbreaking aerial shooter that aims to be the fastest online game in existence. Skylink gives you unparalleled freedom as you control powerful UAVs such as the tank-like Megadon or the stealthy tactical Shade Z1 to defeat your opponents and win the day. Sky Link is designed to be easy to pick up and play, but difficult to master.
Grapple, afterburn, and expertly maneuver your way across varied war-torn battlefields in a fight for the world’s most valuable resource - information.
More than Just Fly and Gun… Introducing UPLOAD
The main game mode in Skylink is UPLOAD - a tactical 3V3 competition where two teams fight to take a cache of sensitive data to specific upload zones within a given map. The attackers must either upload the entire package before the time runs out, or eliminate their opponents.
Meanwhile, the defending team must destroy their attackers or prevent them from being able to get the upload to 100 percent. The first team to win the required number of rounds wins the day and the digital glory.
With a renewed focus on aerial combat not yet seen in other games, Skylink pushes the boundaries of spatial awareness and high maneuverability with the sheer freedom of three-dimensional gameplay at your fingertips. Experience intense high-speed combat (up to 250 PMH!) seldom experienced in a game like this!
Easy to learn, difficult to master movement mechanics such as:
- Air Grapple System (AGS) - Be a robotic Spider-Man in a dystopian battlefield! Punch your foes, swing across the cityscape, and steal the cache from the enemy.
- Instant Engine Cut Off - Got a bogey on your tail? Cut your engines, and lose ‘em fast.
- 360 Degree Warfare - Fights can happen literally anywhere in the map - above, behind, below. No space is safe.
The New Weapons of Warfare
With devastating tech at your disposal, you’ll have plenty of options when it comes to not only how you look, but what role and loadouts work best for your playstyle.
Each tactical UAV has a role to play and its own set of weapons and skills to help their teams win the day. Tactical usage of various unique abilities allows you to push the limits of what each aircraft can do.
There’s no shortage of interesting skills across our selection of aircraft. From a devastating remote-controlled missile to an electromagnetic pulse that pushes enemies into their surroundings, possibly exploding them on impact. There’s a plasma leash that can double both as a weapon and a repair beam, as well as a turret that can attach itself to any surface and create a deadly choke point between buildings.
Each different craft has its own strengths and weaknesses - it’s up to you to find your preferred champion.

A fresh idea with huge potential. Don't let down Odisi game, please don't and venture forward with this one of a kind idea, let this game be recognized as a mastahpiece.
This game made me discover that I sexually Identify as a Megadon M9X attack drone. Ever since I was a boy I dreamed of soaring over the desert shooting long hard rockets on disgusting Raptor 1000s. People say to me that a person being an attack drone is Impossible and I'm fucking brain-dead but I don't care, I'm beautiful. I'm having a plastic surgeon install a Drone-Brain Meld Interface, rotary blades, a Nova cannon and dual Predator machine guns on my body. From now on I want you guys to call me "Megadon" and respect my right to to hover in mid-air and engage in aerial combat. If you can't accept me you're a dronophobe and need to check your drone privilege. Thank you for being so understanding.
Drone Strike Force is pretty sweet so far! I have a pros and cons list, but I'm pretty sure the cons will be resolved soon. Pros: - Vertical combat - Easy to start - Quick Matches (so you're not stuck in a long drawn out match you don't want to be in) - Not Pay to Win Cons: - Hardly any players late night/early morning (I work nights so can't be on during the day) - Not being able to select a game mode - Getting placed in a 1v1 or 2v2 match Overall, great potential if more people join. I would love to see a game like this be successful, I'd even be ok with cosmetic microtransactions! I would definitely recommend this game and I hope to see more people joining soon!
Love it! Picked it up on a whim and don't regret it. It's refreshing and new. Visuals are nice and smooth. Game play is fluid. Will be playing a lot more of this as it develops. Buy it now!
Awesome game. The movement feels fluid and intuitive. The diffrent classes/droes and weapons make you play very diffrent, its a blast! Can highly recommend. The game is still in development and gets further improved so it can only get better. I can highly recommend this game. The playerbase is low but dont let that keep you away from this blast of a game. I organize matches for Drone Strike Force so just add me and help the game grow slowly over time!
Great change to an otherwise boring genre anymore. Was a beta tester and the team behind this definitely hears and wants to please their community. Don't sleep on this!
This is a great game already, we just need the player base to fill the ranks. What they already have runs great, graphics are up to par and the content available gives players the ability to play with a good variation of drones, weapons and upgrades. Every match players are mixed and put into teams so you don't have to worry about getting set against a well formed team, the community on discord is awesome and eager to go but again we need the player base. There is a free demo now so give it a shot!
This game is actually very good and have potential, but this game should get more players. So, I think you should get this game. First, probably you won't be able to find player, but if a lot people get this game, there won't be a problem.
It's a really fun game to play... when your actually able to play it. Currently my average wait time to load in a game is about 15-30 minutes to enjoy a <10 minute game. Not sure if this is the games fault, its probably due to a low amount of players playing the game. It sucks because there is no solo practice you can do while waiting for a game to load. Its a really enjoyable game, its truly unique, easy to learn, and full of action. Drone Strike Force has the potential to be a very fun arcade game if it got more publicity.
