Synthwave Dream '85

great game & awesome music

Quick and fun little game. The soundtrack is killer if you like synthwave and the visuals are pretty cool. There is only one track that seems to recycle sections endlessly at random but it does flow well and you get two different modes to test out on it. The customization is pretty neat but I honestly didn't get super into and instead focused on the game play. The driving takes a minute or two to get use to. There is virtually no steering on the cars forcing you to chain drift your way through the course but I feel this is kind of the point in this game. My only real complaint is that sometimes it seems like the pickups that spawn along the track show up in the weirdest places making them almost impossible if not completely impossible to grab. Overall picking this game up for a couple dollars on sale was well worth the hour of fun I got out of it and if I really wanted to I think I could squeeze another couple hours out of it grinding cash to unlock the other cars and customization op...
