- Most of the new weapons, in spite of the fact that you have to pay for them, are even worse than the original one (ex: hammer); - Most weapons will work against you; - Most of the upgrades don't help (ex: ice and fire bullets); - If you find a good weapon, you will only use it in one stage; - The mouse pointer doens't work correctly; - Some bugs; - Too expensive for the content in question.

From first impression, it seems this is one of those games that doesn't give P2 progression. They are just P1s pet. That's no fun for P2 =/

There is potential here that could be refined by a competent dev team, but this is clearly not a competent dev team. 1. This may change later, but as far as I can tell the music is on a roughly 5-10 second infinite loop. 2. There is, from what I can gather, absolutely no way to play this game with mouse and keyboard without first starting with a controller. Mouse and keyboard have to be selected from in the game with a controller, and thats the only way to do so. 3. When you exit the game it does not exit, it goes back to the intro movies. The only way i have been able to actually exit the game is with alt+f4 4. The game is incredibly punishing. I play these high-octane rogue likes all the time. Nuclear Throne and Enter the Gungeon are in my top favorite games with nearly 1k hours between them, and yet I get obliterated in this game. 5. Generic combat. You just click a lot. This game is sloppily made, and I cant help but question what kind of testing has been done that these incre...

It's about damn time one of these newfangled roguelite twin-stick games brought back the thrill of fighting swarms of enemies... And I don't mean densely packed napping targets. This is some Smash TV, everything is coming for you shit.

A very cute and fun bullet-hell-ish game! Unlike other bullet-hell games, the threat from melee and projectile-based enemies is about equal. The world-layout of this game makes for a respectable but not frustrating challenge. Each world has 4-5 stages with a boss at the end, and dying during that world means restarting the world. This is a bit nicer than many other roguelike games where death simply drops you back to the beginning. The new weapon system is really nice and quite an improvement over the old one, which made it difficult to care about any weapons at all. The new system allows some degree of permanence but also encourages frequent weapons switching. However, it's quite nice to start a new stage knowing what weapons you have rather than just being thrown into a sea of randomness. My only design criticism of the game is that I feel the tech tree is unlocked too easily. I guess the developers are adding new techs to the tree with subsequent updates, but if less scrap was dr...

There's maybe $5 worth of fun in this game. I'd only advise getting it at a steep discount.

I don't have too much time in woodpunk but man I love this game! Honestly this is one of my favorite games i've ever played and it doesn't ever get too boring even while i'm playing the same level again and again trying to beat the world. Lots of content and I give it a 10/10.

lovely crafted game. Super easy to get into, but difficult enough so it's still fun. Also am really happy about the co-op feature. Even though it is asymetrical co-op, I'm really glad that the developers implemented this feature! If the trailer looks interesting to you and you are looking for a good time, give this game a chance.

I've had my eye on Woodpunk for a while and finally got it when it was on sale. So far i love it, you play as a inventor who is now a woodborg! You have a robot that makes weapons for you, like a bomb launching shotgun or a fully automatic dart gun. Every run is different, one run you could start with a dart shooter, and the next you could start with a schrapnel launcher. Levels are different every time, from surviving for 2 rounds to protecting a machine. I love the artwork, and animations are great! Gameplay is very good, and achievments are fun. Game is challenging as heck. Has better humor than Poker. 10/10 also please add werewolves.
