My game started and worked directly. Though it is still a long way from finished. Animals are like robots and the sound is glitchy. The graphics are really nice in my Oculus Rift so I really hope that the designers fix the animal bit as well. 2-3 months seems like a very short time to clean up the game but miracles have happened before. I will recommend the game because of my hope that it will get better and we have to encourage hunting games in VR but a tip is not to buy it just yet. Wait and see the recensions.
I have requested a refund, the dev is not responding to comments or feedback. The game feels thrown together over night. It forces you with teleport to move around (I am told you can change a setting for locomotion but you then have to use the trigger to move :/ ). I really like the idea behind the game, but it needs to be worked on a lot to be acceptable, in the meantime I`ll keep hold of my money since the dev does not like to talk.
having problems trying to get it started cant give positive review yet
Loaded in, I clicked tutorial, which then just shows you a little movie on the screen of picking up things from the table, guns ammo, etc. IT doesn't however, tell you HOW to pick things up. I had to keep pressing different buttons, nothing was intuitive. sometimes a green laser would come out when I pointed at objects, then I clicked trigger to have it come to me. It was messy. I see it's in early development, but, it's been 4 days, no updates, no answers from devs about the problems people are having. This feels like a cash grab. As much as I like to encourage new devs to develop for VR, I can't recommend this. This company, "smartmove" isn't making such a smart move when it comes to being proactive about their launch. It's a bummer. It looks like something that could have been really fun. I will update my review if anything changes, deserving a better review that is. Just like I did with Rogan.
Won't start properly
The game is early access. However the basic controls seem to be flaky when you are using the occulus rift controlers. I managed to figure out how to reload the pistol that you have access to at the begining however regardless of what I have tried the shotgun is very difficult to reload.
game no longer launches, was never that great but now you can't even play it. Oculus Rift s
