Edit: A lot of this has been fixed by the devs already! Pretty unpolished VR game, refunded for these reasons: - Game is server based (!!!), it only has servers in US/EU, so interactivity with the environment or items is very laggy and inconsistent with higher ping. Voice chat is also laggy because of this (half a second delay) and cuts out with multiple people talking. This makes no sense to me at all. Why isn't it P2P? - No video or audio settings, can't change volume of voices or game SFX. - No Index controller support. - No reset orientation button. - Orientation constantly shifts for no reason, requiring you to move left and right between menus. This is very annoying in seated mode. - Game doesn't allow control of desktop when its open. - No animations of hands touching the switches or twisting knobs, no haptic feedback, feels quite difficult and unsatisfying to use. - Avatars completely broken, heads not on bodies etc. - Game crashed for two people in my group. - Using Discord...

About This Game
WORK TOGETHER AS A SPACETEAM
Assemble a team of up to six space cadets and work together communicating and completing increasingly complex instructions.
Your spaceship has a few... eccentricities, work with your Spaceteam in order to get as far through space as you can. The ship's computer uses an approach to language that we lovingly refer to as "technobabble" - sometimes it might not use actual words, requiring a healthy amount of interpretation and clear communication from your Spaceteam.
About the Game
DON'T PANIC!
Even if this is your first space flight, it's ok, the ship will give you instructions, it's just that they might not apply to a control on the console in front of you. They might be for a control on a teammate's console so you will need to tell them, quickly, and probably loudly. If your Spaceteam is able to complete enough instructions successfully in a sector you will progress to the next, each sector becomes increasingly difficult and as the ship becomes harder to control and eventually, inevitably, you will explode.
YOUR COMET INNOVATIONS TOOL KIT
Floating within arms reach to your right and left are your trusty tools which will, hopefully, help you to deal with the myriad of threats and anomalies that take place onboard the ship.
- Repair Hammer – used to repair broken controls
- Ray-Gun – used to shoot enemy invaders
- Steri-Sponge 3000 – used to clean up the enemy invaders slime
- Fire Extinguisher – used to extinguish the unavoidable fires
- Airhorn – for use when instructed by the Ship
SPACE IS A DANGEROUS PLACE
Anomalies and aliens pop up when you least expect it, often adding to your workload and bringing your inexorable doom ever closer. Some that you may encounter include...
UFOs
Small flying saucers appear at the outer edges of the play area and shoot at player’s controls, setting them on fire. Player’s use their ray guns to shoot back!
SLIMES
Floating green alien monsters who spit goop onto player’s consoles, players need to wipe the goop up with the sponge and shoot the Slimes down with their ray guns.
ROBOT FRIENDS
The robots that live on the ship are friendly and try to be helpful. They are responsive to players – if you wave at them, they wave back, and don’t take kindly to being shot at. They play games with each other and explore the ship at their leisure during down-time.There are three ways to play Spaceteam VR:
FULL VR MULTIPLAYER
Up to six players, connected to the internet, in any popular VR headset join in a cooperative game of trying to avoid their binding doom.
FACE TO FACE
Up to six players play locally with at least one VR headset and connected smart devices, this offers an experience much like the original Spaceteam game. In the VR game each mobile player is represented by a robot.
SINGLE PLAYER
If you don’t have any friends around or there's no one online you want to play with head to the Practice Mode and you and two of our trusty robots will form your Spaceteam.

User Reviews
Unfortunately missing a ton of options to make the game playable, can't calibrate, delay on audio, had to use discord with the game muted to make the game playable, and even then we had two people crash. Can't really recommend the game in its current state.
This game might be a blast to play. I wouldn't know because no one is playing it. Online is 100% dead without a single game in any region. If you have friends to play with then maybe your experience might be different. But if you like me rely on public matching for online games this is not worth your time. Check out Star Trek Bridge Crew.
I really wanted this to be good, I love the app version, but it really doesn't feel ready for release in VR. Took us forever to troubleshoot online play; then we realized we wouldn't be able to include everyone at the same time, but we still played a little before getting frustrated. The most disappointing thing is that you can't play online and with phones at the same time! My friend and I want to play with each other but also include our significant others, but that doesn't seem possible. Other problems: - Switching to seated mode requires you to be able to reach the button from the position you'd like to sit in. And better hope your chair doesn't have armrests or the buttons will often be placed inside them. - No way to recenter your standing position without toggling to seated and back, but for some reason toggling back resets the floor to the level of your head and you have to quit the game to fix it. - No way to reposition the control panel or the instruction screen, so they'r...
Manic fun and great cross platform and tablet play - buy it, VR needs more silly multiplayer, too much seriousness
Will be a fantastic realization when the design hitches / bugs are smoothed out. I'm a big fan of SpaceTeam on mobile so it was an immediate hell yes when I heard about a VR version. This is a really strong running start to taking the ideas of the mobile version and expanding on it a bit further. The character designs and animated rigs in this are neat as heck. Ran into some critical design problems where your tools failed to respawn, or slime damages to your console would never go away not matter how much you tried, and would basically cripple you for the entire round. It's my opinion that tools should respawn (or snap back into place) immediately vs bouncing around and waiting for a settle state to re-position themselves back in your tool set. Especially in a game like this where you will be going back and fourth a LOT as stuff gets ramped up. Hopefully these get resolved in one of the next updates, as they tend to make people want to never play again once experienced. Thumbs up if...
It's fun chaos very similar to the mobile game just in VR. Play with friends. There's not a ton of substance here but it's an amusing 'party game'.
It's a super cool concept but not especially well implemented. Playing with people on their phones is a cool idea but it uses a browser instead of the Spaceteam app which was disappointment #1. Some of the phone players weren't able to see all their controls. We also had trouble getting games to start and often had phone users get dropped out of the game or spawn on top of a VR player causing them to have two sets of controls. Maybe it'll be better after a few more updates.
An awesome multiplayer VR experience. Tons of fun and I highly recommend. Having played the original it's really wonderful to see it come alive in a VR setting. Extremely absurd and fast paced. few features like audio settings are missing currently but I'm sure they'll be added soon.
This is the best game ive ever played, it fixed my marriage made my kids love me again, took me out of debt, and gave me a smooch on the cheek 12/10 contender for GOTY.
