I really wanted to like this game, and in truth if the RNG was ACTUAL RNG, not finger on the scale weighed against you type RNG, I probably would. Very rarely does it feel like RNG swings in your favor, rather it feels like some dude behind a curtain cackling at your misfortune. Its most obvious in how blatantly obvious the dice rolls will absolutely bend you over a counter, both yours AND the enemy. I can see why OTHERS might enjoy the game, as there is a lot to praise it for if I separate MY own feelings from the equation, but I wont, so this game can eat my entire ass.

About This Game
In this fast-paced deckbuilding roguelike from Terry Cavanagh (Super Hexagon, VVVVVV), Chipzel, and Marlowe Dobbe, you'll fight monsters, find better loot, level up your heroes, and maybe even take down the Goddess of Fortune, Lady Luck herself. Balance your carefully planned strategies against the unknown of a dice roll.
Play as six different characters, each with their own unique play styles and abilities.
- The Thief, who steals random enemy equipment every turn!
- The Robot, who gains dice by playing a push-your-luck blackjack game!
- The Inventor, overcome with inspiration, who must destroy their own equipment after each fight to get parts for powerful new gadgets!
- and more!
Master each class and figure out which one best fits your style in this charming world filled with a growing array of twists and secrets.
Can you make it out alive? Maybe, but luck is definitely not on your side.
- Six wildly different playable classes: Warrior, Thief, Robot, Jester, Inventor and Witch.
- Dozens of enemies, ranging from Vacuum Cleaners that want to suck your blood, to creatures from Irish mythology, to suave malevolent snowmen.
- A catchy, upbeat and energetic soundtrack by Chipzel (previously, the musician from Super Hexagon).
- Beautiful and adorable artwork by Marlowe Dobbe.
- Procedurally generated for endless play-throughs.

Addictive game loop, fantastic music and stellar art. Combat system feels deep and rive with optimisation. Truly an indie gem.
it's very fun, and gets complicated surprisingly quickly
LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS GAME. It's wild how much the different characters change the playstyle. Wonderful mechanics, cute art, fun storyline... My only gripe is that the Witch Character is SO DIFFICULT. I just cannot beat her 5+ levels...
rng fiesta
do you like slay the spire? want to play it but with dice and a more cute/charming aesthetic? look no further, this is a great original idea and it is executed near-flawlessly, sanding down the "rogue-lite" genre into a approachable loop that has tons of customization and replay-ability. the presentation alone tells you exactly what kind of game this is but the more you play the more you'll be pleasantly surprised. i had previously played VVVVVV & super hexagon, and this is so clearly his best work up to this point.
Half of my friends want to marry or fuck Lady Luck and this has nothing to do with the fact that I recommend this game
Cool game. Terrible game design choice to make the higher difficulty very RNG heavy and arbitrary. Could have had a cool progression of different runs, but they decided to just make it so you have to constantly waste your time hoping for RNG to win you the run instead.
Fun for a while, but the game is not quite balanced. I love the character design and challenges though! 6.8/10. Not for square haters.
A really fun rogue-like with a lot of flair. The gameplay is simple to understand, but the variety posed by the different characters, deckbuilding mechanics and challenges keep it consistently engaging. The artwork is a treat for the eyes, with a great style and creative character designs packed with personality. The soundtrack is excellent, with a lovely fusion between jazz and retro chiptune. Overall, a great little gem that I'd highly recommend.
